The shots were loud and he couldn't take it anymore ,they showed him no mercy
"Come back you little shit"one of the large men with rifles shouts as He was running through the large forest trying to escape
He had tears streaming down his face and blotched cheeks along with a dirty long tee shirt and ears covered in mud
The shots continued and the sensitivity of his ears was horrible they twitched with every crunch of the leaves he ran on
He stopped running and stopped when he was on pavement instead of leaves or twigs
He was catching his breath and the shots had stopped and seized along with everything else it's like it was very sudden and quiet
He looked around and found a bench and walked slowly over to it and sat down curling up into a small little ball
The wind slowed down and the small chill was enough to have him curl up more closely
"Hey,what's your name"a timid voice said with a tiny stutter and a hint of curiousness
"Huh"he looked up and was met with a small boy with light washed overalls and a polka dotted long sleeved knitted sweater and a jacket around his small waist
"What's your name"the boy piped up his green eyes slightly glossed over
"Cal,I mean,Calum,name is Calum"He stuttered scared he might want to hurt him
"Pretty,your name is very pretty,I'm Michael"the boy smiles
,he reached to touch Calum's shirt
He shies away and whimpers lightly not wanting to be hurt
"Don't hurt me,"he breathed
",please"he breathed again
"No I wouldn't dare,"The boy was was taken back
"Are you cold,"the boy asked looking over Calum and obviously seeing his puffy matted down tail and his flipped over ears
"Yes"he shivered
"Here"the boy said untying his sweater around his waist and putting it over Calum
"Thank you"Calum smiles
"No problem,are you lost"Michael asked and Calum's memories came back
"I-"Calum paused"they tried to kill me,and I did nothing I just-"Calum paused again "yes I'm very lost"Calum said looking into the boys eyes
"Do want to come home with me,"Michael piped up sweetly rubbing Calum's arm
"Yeah,I would love to"Calum said like how nice the boy was to him
Michael grabbed Calum's hand and they walked across the street and to a large building filled with small houses built inside it
Michael passed the doorman and headed to the elevator with Calum ,Calum looked around almost falling when the thing jolted up moving them
Michael reassured him it does that
They walked down a small hallway till' Michael opened a door to a modern looking small pent house type apartment with lavender embellishments
"S'pretty"Calum giggled
"Thank you"Michael said
"Can I get wet"Calum blurted,Michael looked at him weirdly before catching on
"Yeah,the water is down the hall way,"Michael said and Calum trotted slowly down the hallway
"Thank you,Michael"Calum said appreciating the shelter
