"I got you baby" Trey said and lifted me off the bed. I put my arm around his neck and stood in my daze, I'm hurt.

It's been 3 weeks since everything happened. 3 long and sad weeks.

Today I was going to get this cast taken off of my leg because where I got shot at should be healing. Trey stripped me naked and sat my body in the nice hot bath.

"I'll be back in like 10 mins to get you washed up ight, jus relax babe" he said and kissed my forehead. He turned on the music on low and exited closing the door behind him.

Once he closed the door I heard him call Anthony and Ariana, we been staying at his house because he knows theres too many memories back at mines especially with all the wedding pictures, did I mention August hasn't been in contact with his kids for 3 weeks, he doesn't even know what happened to me. Its like he completely disappeared

I took my hair out the ponytail and wet it and put a decent size of shampoo into my hands, once I was done I stood up and turned the shower on to wash my body

A couple minutes later trey returned to the bathroom "ayye look at you makin process beautiful"

"Looks like you don't even need me in here" he said and I gave him a slight smile. I haven't spoken that much, I speak to my kids of course but with everybody else its just small talk, I don't have that much to say anymore.

"Can you give me a towel?" I ask and his eyes widen in shock "yeah" he goes out into the closet to get one and I rinse my body, letting the hot water hit my body for the last time.

He handed me the towel and I dried off I chuckled when I realized he was staring

"Really your just gonna stare?" I asked

"No I just, .... I just really missed your voice you know"

I shook my head and walked past him to my clothes that were sat out on the bed, before things could get awkward the door bell rang.

I put my under clothes on and slid on the sweatpants along with the tank top. I put on a new pair of socks and headed downstairs

"Hey sweetie" Trey's mom said pulling me into a hug, this was just what I needed. I mean treys given me a thousand already but hers was different, before I knew it my tears were sinking into her shirt

"I'm sorry" I said and pulled back, I felt better when I realized she was crying too.

Before she could speak Antony and Ariana came downstairs.

Anthony's 7 now and boy does he look like August, Ariana's soon to be 1 and just barely learned to walk. She was holding on to treys pant leg and slowly going down the steps

"Take your time babygirl, one at a time" trey said and she laughed.

"I taught her this babe" trey said looking at me and licking his lips

"Mama you gonna get your cast off today?" Anthony spoke putting his arm around me "yeah baby, then we can go to that place you wanted to go to" I said hugging him

"Sky zone mom" he said and laughed "yeah that one"

"You know they got a hoop in there too right? Just be prepared to lose" I stated and me laughed

Ariana laughed and came running to my leg "hey big girl" I smiled and bent down to her height and noticed the chocolate ring around her mouth
I got a wipe from off the couch and wiped it and she began laughing, she's so beautiful.

"Alright you guys ready to get this show on the road?" Trey's mom said coming out the bathroom in the hall, I'm guessing she fixed her makeup

"Sorry" I mouthed and she chuckled like it was nothing

"Please not too much candy or anything sugary" I said as she walked towards the door with the kids

"Yes mama please, especially Ariana she's the hardest to put to bed" Trey said agreeing with me and put his arm around my waist

"Boo bye, it's a party I'm letting them have all the fun they want" she said causing me to laugh and Trey shake his head.

Once she got into the car and drove off he closed the door "she's something else" I said

"Tell me about it" he said and turned around and we were now body to body, god I missed his touch.

He was towering over me and I could still smell the mint toothpaste on his breath he pulled me closer by the waist and kissed me and boy did it feel good.

After having a full blown make put session I pulled away and he looked down at me searching for my eyes but his face scrunched up a bit when he realized I was staring down at the ground. He put his finger under my chin and lifted my head

"Hey Hey, listen to me I love you alright?" He said softly and sent chills throughout my body

"Im not him baby, I'm here through it all I promise" he said and hugged me
Whenever I'm in Trey's arms I feel so safe, after everything I've been through with august the feeling is simply amazing.

- 2 hours later -

"No way, your cheating" trey said and smirked keeping his eyes on the road

"No I'm not! That's how you play" I said laughing we were playing the ispy game that we always play with Ariana in the car but apparently I'm cheating for not giving him a chance to speak.

"Okay new game, let's start over" he said and looked at me licking his lips

"Mm alright" I said and smiled looking out the window, my stomach turned when I realized where we were at

He gripped my thigh and rubbed it "I'm sorry there was just traffic on the regular road" he spoke softly. We were passing my old house, well the one me and August lived in together

"What the hell are they doing!?" I said and Trey immediately pulled over and I quickly got out, I got my cast off so I'm moving a lot quicker now.

"Yo what's up, who the hell let y'all in?' Trey said walking up to the guys who were moving my furniture out the house

"Listen some guy named Alsina paid our company to take all his stuff and move it to where he's at now, we don't want any trouble" the guy said with a funny accent.

I shook my head and made my way into the house, he was being so shady and our divorce isn't even final yet.

I walked into the bedroom and into the closet where my things are and pulled my suitcases down throwing my things into them

"Can you do this while I go get Anthony and Ariana's things?" I asked trey and he shook his head packing my things out

I walked to Ariana's room first knocking down all the wedding photos in the process

Once everything was packed and our bags were into Trey's truck we were back inside heading back to his house, my stomach felt weird again and I suddenly felt the urge to be sad all over again, even after Trey has made me laugh and smile so much this afternoon.

I didn't speak the rest of the car ride, neither did he I sat in a somehow comfortable silence with 1000 thoughts running through my head.
When we pulled into his driveway I quickly grabbed my purse in a hurry to get out but Trey pulled me back.

"I'm not him alright?" He said and I looked at him confused

"Wha-"

"Whenever this fuck nigga does something you end up pushing me away thinking I'm probably out to hurt you the same way, but I'm not Aubree" he said cutting me off

"I'm just tryna show you how a real relationship is supposed to be, how a real man suppose to treat you and your kids babygirl" he said and kissed my forehead.
