Chapter 2.

Allie's POV :)

I have been in the car for 20 minutes now.

Sitting in complete silence. Awkward silence.

Jonah has a tight grip on the steering wheel and is face looks very tense.

He's angry. I can tell.

But, he is always angry. So I don't care.

He can be happy in front of his friends.

But once he sees me, he instantly becomes angry.

I don't get it.

What did I ever do to deserve this?

It seems like he doesn't even want me around at all.

But, he loves me. He loves me. That's all that matters.

We've been dating for 6 months now. We started dating last year. I fell in love with him instantly. He was such a gentleman, and he still is...sometimes. But, I love him and he loves me. He's abusive towards me, but when I try to leave he starts to cry. I can't leave him. Especially while he is crying. So I stay, and lay in his arms. I really do love him. I really do.
Only my best friend Rose knows that he beats me. She wants me to leave him. But, I tell her that I can't. All the time. We always have conversations about my well-being and I tell her the exact same thing every time. I love him.

Finally we pull up into the school parking lot. Jonah hops out of the car without a word. I unbuckle my seatbelt and follow him. He walks towards his friends Avan and Matt.

"Hey Jonah," Avan says.

"Whassup?" Jonah replies back.

As I stop behind Jonah, Matt's eyes meet mine.

"Hey Allie."

"Hi Matt," I reply.

I look up at Jonah. He looks distracted. I follow his gaze and discover that he is looking at a group of boys walking past us.

They all have tattoos and are muscular. They are very attractive. The one with the blonde hair makes contact with me. I break away from his glare before Jonah can even see it. If Jonah saw that he would probably pull that kid's eyeballs out.

Suddenly I feel Jonah's lips crash into mine. I cannot breathe. Jonah pulls back and I can breathe again.

"Whoa, we will just leave you two lovebirds to it," Avan says.

Matt makes kissy faces at us and Jonah flicks him off.

Matt and Avan walk away.

Jake forcefully grabs my arm and drags me to behind a tree.

He smacks me, and I fall to the ground.

"I saw you fucking looking at Horan," he growls at me.

"I don't know what you're talking about," I say painfully.

He smacks me again even harder.

"Don't try to play with me Allie," he growls at me. "I fucking saw you."

He grabs my face with his right hand.

"Don't fucking look at him ever again," he roars. "Don't fucking look at any guy anymore except for me. Ya got it?"

I shake my head. I just want him to leave me alone.

Jonah lets go of my face and storms off.

Tears fall down my cheeks.

I did this to myself. I shouldn't have looked at him.

Suddenly I feel a hand on my shoulder.

"Are you okay Al?" I hear Rose say.

"I'm fine," I say through my tears.

"No you're not."

She turns my head to the side and inspects my cheek.

"Oh my god, a bruise is already forming."

She lightly touches it and I wince in pain.

"You need to go to the nurse Al," she says.

"No I don't," I reply. "Do you have some foundation?"

Rose reaches in her purse and pulls out her foundation and compact mirror.

I should really start bringing my own to school.

"Thanks," I whisper.

I put it on very quickly and give it back to Rose.

"Are you sure you're gonna be okay Al?" she asks.

"Yeah, I'll be fine. Let's get to class."

I stand up and wipe all the dirt off of my clothes. At least they aren't ruined.

"You have to tell me what happened Al," she says worriedly.

"I will Rose. At lunch," I promise her.

"Okay."

We link arms with each other and walk to class.



Niall's POV :)

We pull up in the school parking lot in Liam's SUV. We all get out of the car and spot Danielle, Perrie, and Eleanor near the building waving at us.

We all start to walk towards the door.

Then I see a guy in a black leather jacket with jet black hair.

I recognize him.

It's Jonah. Jonah McCarthy.

He's a dick. A true dick.

It looks like he has a new girlfriend too. She has her long red hair in a ponytail and is wearing basic clothes-a sweater and jeans.

I wonder if she knows that he is a player?

He has had like fifteen million girlfriends.

But, oh well. That's not my problem.

I keep on looking at her.

There's something different about her. But, I cannot put my finger on it.

I don't know.

Suddenly Jonah makes eye contact. He looks shitty.

But, I don't really give a shit. I'm not scared of him. He's a punk.

He forcefully brings his lips to the girl's.

Dick.

He honestly thinks I give a shit what he does with his so called "girlfriend"?

Haha, how cute.

Finally we reach the girls'.

"Louisss!" Eleanor screeches.

She runs up to him and basically tackles him.

"Hey babe," he says while kissing her hair.

"Hey Danielle," Liam says before kissing her on the lips.

Zayn and Perrie do the same thing.

Me and Harry are the only one's who are single.

This is awkward.

"Well, let's go Niall since we don't really belong here," Harry laughs.

"See ya later mates," I reply.

Harry and I walk to class together.

Suprisingly we have a lot of classes together.

Our first class is English with Mr. Jackson.

When I walk into the class, I see Mr. Jackson sitting in his office chair behind his desk.

He looks pretty young. Maybe 27 or 28.

I would not like to be a teacher at all.

I'd rather kill myself.

Harry and I find seats at the very back of the room.

Suddenly, I see the girl from earlier with another girl. Her friend?

Her eyes are bloodshot.

She had been crying.

"Harry who is she?" I ask.

"That's Allie Bentley."

"Did she go here last year?"

"Yeah she did."

"Hmm, I've never seen her before."

"Yeah, she's really never around," Harry says. "She's pretty fit though I must say."

He's grinning at her.

"You look like a fucking stalker," I laugh.

He gives me the middle finger and laughs.

"I think imma talk to her after class."

"I don't think Jonah would like that," I reply.

"Who gives a fuck about Jonah? Cause I certainly don't. He's a little bitch."

"Yeah he is," I laugh.

The bell rings and class starts.

Yay.
