I thought that after all we had been through, which was quite a lot for a relationship that lasted technically a month, Brian and I were now on a happy road. I loved him with all I had and as naïve as I was I thought that it was enough. That I was enough.
Things change. Life is an unpredictable game. Whether you win or you lose. I was determined to be on the winning team so after making my humanly mistakes I worked hard for what I wanted, and needed, most.
