Next Day,

"So, what's up?" Kris inquired, as they were driving back home.

"I want to know everything about her." His gaze heightened to Kris. "Like how did you meet---"

"High school." Kris uttered and didn't wait for him to complete.

Lay paused and found Kris's expressions perturbed. "Then?"

"Her.... her parents died and she had none to be with... so, dad decided to support her financially and she lived with us for 4 years. After she crossed 20, she moved out but dad was worried so she lives where you know well." Kris rolled his eyes back and exhaled out as if he had told a really long detailed tale.

However, Lay's curiosity didn't die down. "Where did she live before that?"

"With her step mother. You know she wasn't good with her." Kris shrugged. "Lay...." His eyes drove towards him. "Don't fall for her, ok?"

Lay paused. "I am just curious why did you help her? Or why did your dad get involved. It's so absurd."

Kris glared with anger this time. "She was living in hell, you have no idea about. Living with someone who hurts you daily...."

"Did she seek for help?" Lay narrowed his eyes.

Kris stared at him dumbfounded. "Don't ask me silly questions. I am not going to answer."

"So, you won't tell me that she had been raped?"

"Lay..." Kris paused. His heart beat rose as Lay uttered the word. This was something unexpected. "How did you know?" He bulged out his eyes.

"You can guess better."

"Remi can't tell you this and Uee knows nothing."

Lay smirked. "Lets just stop this discussion. I know you won't tell me."

"You are right about that." Kris huffed and jerked his collar forward for some air to go in.

Remi lazily got out of her room to open the door. She was expecting Lay as he had been out for long. The moment she opened the door, a blue car was standing out of the front door. She stepped out on the porch and eyed the object. A guy came out of the car abruptly.

"Lay!" She hid her mouth with her fingers in amazement.

"Surprise..." He inclined against the car's door.

"Did you buy it?"

"Well no...." He shut closed the door and stepped to her. She took the cigarette back, secured between her lips, lucky thing, being where he wanted his lower lip to be. He absent minded bit his lower lip, exhaled and gulped. "Well, I rented it for a month. You know I won some good amount from the tournament." He smiled.

Her eyes sneered at him as she took the cigarette out again and emitted smoke through her mouth. "Then you could afford a good hotel room."

"They won't have any Remi in it." He smirked.

She glared and had no reply to the statement that had caused the fast thumping of her heart. She simply walked backward.

"Remi... would you like a ride?" He offered but she turned around and went inside. "Remi... I am serious." He followed her to the inside and saw her entering her room. "Remi!" He called out again and trespassed into the room. "Come.... on!"

"No!" She shooted a brow. "And why the hell did you intrude into my territory!" She glared. "Oh you get lost!" She pushed him back but her cell phone started ringing. "Yoboseyo...." She spoke, her hand still pressed against his chest, the same hand that held the cigarette. "Soomin-ah!". She called out the name of her friend who had called her. Lay paced forward, making her feet to take steps backwards. "Oh shit!" Still walking backwards until she was pinned to the wall behind. "Yeah.... actually how can I forget this.... yeah...." She kept on replying on the phone although her condition wasn't satisfactory. Lay weighed his body over hers and her hand fell down. "Ok... please don't be upset. I'll be there, we---" She halted when Lay slid his fingers down into the back pocket of her jeans. "Umm... nah.... I am alright. I am coming." She finally hung up, now diverting the centre of her focus. She didn't shove him away but took in her cigarette. His hand had been inside the back pocket, cupping her ass. As she smoked, the fumes dissipated out of her mouth and Lay captured her lips. Her cigarette dropped down as a reaction. But the next second he retreated for fresh air and started coughing. She grabbed her purse and pushed her feet into her sandals. She then ran to the door of the room but her arm got locked in his hand.
