      "You two are the most confusing set of idiots I have ever met." Mateo shook his head, lifting up his burger and biting into it happily. He and I were at McDonald's while all the girls were dress shopping for the Gala and Prom. Neither of us had bought or rented a suit and at this point, we had just given up on life. I bit into my burger as well and shrugged. "Like ok let me get this straight. Scarlett, your psychotic ex-girlfriend, and her uncle work for Lenne's mom? She shows up, flirts with you in front of your not so official girlfriend, you snap at Lenne for later asking you about what happened between you two, then Scarlett shows up at the house, you walk out and she pretends to have slept with you when Lenne goes to your room? Then you guys make out when we had to babysit and all is good now? Jesus Christ." he states, rolling his eyes at the end. The way he put it made me laugh, only making him throw his hands up in exasperation.

      "I mean to be fair and accurate, we haven't talked since the whole kissing part. She literally has been keeping her distance which I don't get. Second of all, don't get me started on you and Cathy, dude. Like come on, you are always at each other's throats and all of the sudden you two are each other's dates to not only the Gala but Prom. Really?" I question back, raising an eyebrow and waving him off. He scrunched up his face and rolled his eyes again, taking a drink before answering back. "My love life is not the point here Romeo. All I'm saying is that you two are very confusing and hard to keep up with. Like we're all on the crazy train at this point. If you two don't get it together, we're gonna crash." he said, throwing his hands up in exasperation.

      "Well, I don't know what to do! The girl is confusing as hell and quite frankly it's not my fault I'm in love with her ok?" I said, freezing up and my eyes going wide. I had always thought and said that inside my head but had never admitted it out loud. Mateo reacted a little more exaggeratedly. He spit out his soda and jumped up, pointing his finger at me repeatedly. "I KNEW IT!" He screamed, jumping around like a little kid and laughing loudly, catching everyone's attention. I hid my head and face behind my hands, shaking my head at his stupidity.

      "Yeah ok ok. I get it. I'm serious, though. At the same time, I might've done something really stupid dude. Like your kind of stupid" I mumbled, making him lift his eyebrow in concern as he sat back down in the booth. "Ok. Tell me. I'm ignoring the fact you offended me only because you don't usually screw up as bad as I screw up. That being said, it can't be that bad." he said nonchalantly, taking a sip of his soda and cleaning up the stickiness on the table. I sighed and shook my head, looking down at my hands. "I sorta made a bet with Marco. Like that, I could stay with Lenne and date her by the end of the school year. I sorta spilled a little when we argued but, I'm not sure she noticed or knew what I was talking about considering I said a lot of other fucked up stuff." I grumbled, hoping he didn't hear. When I looked up, all I saw was Mateo's hand fly at my head. I groaned and rubbed my head, glaring at Mateo's annoyed face.

      "You better be thinking about telling her Jake. I'm not playing right now. I hope you know you're a fucking idiot for doing that ok? What the hell were you thinking to make a bet with that bastard? You don't win either way. You date Lenne and prove him wrong, he tells her and you're screwed." He stated sternly, giving me the most serious look he's ever been able to keep on his face. I nodded and then pointed at him quickly before speaking up. "You can't tell Cathy. I'm serious too Mateo. You tell her and she tells Jacqueline. One of them is going to spill to her and then we're all screwed because I did it and you guys all knew before her." I said, picking up my trash and scooting out of the booth. I didn't see whether he nodded or not but, I knew he was right. I had to tell her, because if she found out through someone else, I couldn't hope for things between us to get together. I was backed into a corner with the truth at my throat and I couldn't help but, think of her.

      I can't deny the fact anymore that every time my mind wanders, it finds it's way back to her. Back to her innocent blue eyes holding more emotions than I knew were possible. It was her and only her that managed to make the sky look dull in comparison of her eyes. My mind wandered back to her smile. Damn, her smile. Every time she smiled, I swear, I forgot how to breathe. She was the sunshine and the rain all in one. She held the ocean within her and I was just this person who loved the waves, totally and completely unaware of the depth. She spoke and now I know what it was tugging at my heart. I know that it was her, getting a hold of my heart. The thing now was that she had complete control over it and I'm not sure if I want to take it back.

Hello my beautiful Peach Family, how is everyone doing today? I hope you are doing great and that you are smiling right now as you read this. Anyhow, how was it? Do you want him to tell her right away or like after or during one of the big events? Cause, I still haven't decided in all honesty. I also as always, want to continue sending you guys virtual hugs because you guys make me the proudest author possible in all honesty and our family just keeps growing oml. We are up to over 42K Peaches in our Peach Family like woah. I would also like to start encouraging comments a lot more.
