Normani's POV

I woke up to an empty dorm room. Dinah wasn't here. She didn't leave a note to tell me where she went. Wait it's none of my business. Right? You know what
Honestly I wasn't ready to tell Dinah about my feelings yet. But it's to late now. My thought were interrupted by my phone ringing.

"Hey Deej"

"Hey. What you doing?"

"Nothing just woke up and wondering where you went"

"Oh. I'm on the way to Lauren's"

"Oh okay. Well I won't hold you up. I'm gonna go take a shower then go to the mall. If you wanna come just call me when you leave laurs. Ok?"

"Ok. Bye manz. Be safe"

"You too"

Then we hung up.

Dinah's POV

"Hey Lauser!"

"Hey girl"

"I missed you"

"I saw you yesterday Dinah"

"Oh yeah. But anyways lets Netflix and chill."

"Ok. Whatcha wanna watc- oh wait I already know"

"What is it then" I said with my hand like this ( 🤔 )

"Uhm let me guess. The lion king"

"Yeahhhhh you know me so well." I jumped onto Lauren's lap and the movie started.

30 minutes into the movie

"Dinah?"

"Hmm"

"What's going on between you and Normani?"

"Whatcha mean girly" I ask while sitting up to pause the movie.

"Uhm because I saw you guys going at it but me and the girls were trying to see what was wrong but we couldn't put a finger on it." She explained.

"Oh Nothing just some drama that had happened in our dorm. We're ok now"

"Oh ok that's good. So is she uhm you know. Single?"

"Uhm I think so" I lie. Why is she asking about Mani so much.

"Oh ok. Well we can start the movie now"

"Okkkk" I said while looking at her in the corner of my eye.

1 hour later

Lauren's POV

Dinah just fell asleep. A couple of minutes ago. I just found out Normani was single. I've been trying to find that out for the longest. I'm gonna call her and ask her on a date.

"Hi"

"Hey mani. What ya doing?"

"Nothing just getting out the shower"
