The best feeling is when you look at him, and he's already staring.

____"Can we stop by my house for a second?" I asked Hunter who was holding the steering wheel, Gina sitting next to him.
"What? No! We're actually late, Mel, and the party is in my house!" He sent me glare and clenched his jaw.
Gina tried to hide her smile and turned around to look at my shocked face. "What do you want?" She mouthed.
"Make up," I mouthed back. Yes, make up, I wanted to look good! Even though I had already done my make up before the game I was pretty sure it had already faded, and If I had to compete for Scott with that blonde girl, then I'd better look stunning.
Gina laughed silently while shaking her head. "C'mon Mel, you don't need that," She said, now out loud.
Hunter furrowed his eyebrows, "What did I miss?"
"She wanted to do her make up," She told him. I rose a bit and punched her shoulder softly.
Hunter peeked at me and smirked, I stared at him in awe. "I'm sorry what was that? Did you just smirk at me?"
"Oh, yes I did."
"May I know why?"
"You wanted to look pretty for Scott, didn't you?" He whispered in a singsong voice.
"Ah! Melott! I ship it!" Gina yelled throwing her hands to the air. "Can I be your maid of honor? Oh, and you should name your daughter Gina, okay?" Both her and Hunter started cracking up.
My cheeks started burning as I crossed my arms. "This is not funny. Could you guys please try to act chill around him now that you know...?"
"Uh, I'm sorry, know what?" Gina asked mocking me and hiding a smile.
I rolled my eyes, of course she knew, "Hunter are we there yet? Hurry up, man!" I said while unfastening my seatbelt.
"We are nearly there, can't you hear the music?" He said while entering a new road, his street. You could actually hear the beat of the music from here.
The music got louder and louder as we got nearer to the house. "Hunt, the music is way too loud, the cops will arrive eventually," Gina said worried.
Hunter made a movement with his hand as if he wanted to say it had no importance. "Don't worry, Gee, I already told the neighbors and they're okay with it."
I heard Gina sighing, since she got arrested a few weeks ago she has been acting extra-careful when it comes to parties and alcohol. The cops found her drinking in the backyard of some friend'a party and made her pay 100$, then called her parents who had to pay another 100$, so... let's say they didn't really like that.

The music was banging against my ears, way too loud, as I said earlier... Hunter, Gina and I had been dancing for a few before I said I had to breathe some fresh air. Gina offered to come with me but I knew she didn't really want to get out, she was having fun, she only said that because she thought she was being a good friend by doing that. I appreciated her offer, but I, as a good friend, had to reject it so she could keep having fun and being happy, even though It would have been nice if she had actually come with me... Maybe her by my side would have changed the events that were about to happen.
