It was a Sunday afternoon, Sheriff Stilinski sighed as he stood up from his desk and begun to stack the file he was reading in the pile with all the others.

Unsolved.

Ever since he learned that supernatural beings really do exist, it has really opened a door of all kinds of possibilities, especially with older unsolved cases he's worked on before.

It explains a lot actually, though it's still difficult for him to wrap his head around, he still keeps an open mind.

"Parrish." The Sheriff calls out from his office.
Deputy Parrish hurriedly jogs to the sheriffs opened office door.

"Yes sir?" The deputy asks. His deputy was another unsolved case, he seemed to also have some sort of supernatural ability, but he wasn't sure what he was, even the deputy himself hadn't a clue.

"You can take it from here right?" Stilinski asked. "I'm heading home early." The deputy studied his face.

"Yes sir, enjoy the rest of your day." Parrish replied.

The sheriff nodded and headed out the door of the sheriffs station. Getting into his patroller, he couldn't help but think about his son. There was just something going on with him and he didn't like it.

The sheriffs mind drifted to what took place last night.

He woke up to the sound of Stiles screaming from his room. He ran in only to witness his son crying out in despair and twisting and wriggling his body on the wrinkled bed sheets, completely knocking off his covers onto the floor. His hands desperately clutching his head like he was in pure agony.

It was happening again like before but almost worse.

The Sheriff ran to his son to embraced him, rocking them both back and forth trying to sooth him. At first it didn't seem to be working, while Stiles kept trying to break free from his arms still screaming. But eventually after a few minutes he calmed down and his breathing slowed indicating he was in a peaceful sleep now.

"It's alright, son. I've got you." Sheriff Stilinski continuously whispered.

To say the Sheriff was worried was an understatement. He never thought Stiles would start having these kinds of nightmares again.

He picked up the covers that made there way on to the floor and gently place them over Stiles's sleeping form.

When he finally went to sleep himself and woke up the next morning, Stiles was still sleeping in his room. He didn't want to wake him, so the sheriff went ahead to work like usual.

Now he was driving home, he wondered if Stiles even remembered having a nightmare last night.. He didn't want to press the subject, he would give time for Stiles to open up to him, no matter what Sheriff Stilinski would always be there for his son.

Scott couldn't help but feel a little annoyed, scratch that, very annoyed. Annoyed that his Bestfriend seem to practically be ignoring him, and not just him the others too. He was annoyed Stiles wasn't returning any of his texts even though he could tell they were being read. He was also annoyed that whatever was going on with Stiles, he wasn't telling him anything.

How is he suppose to help his friend if Stiles was just isolating himself from everyone?

They were all a pack and Scott was the alpha, even though Stiles is technically the only human, he still was an important part of the pack. He was the humanity of their group. For him to detach himself was definitely unsettling for Scott and the others.
