"And here's where you'll be sleeping," Dick showed Artemis a guest bedroom.
"Thanks," Artemis said setting Sophia down on the bed. Sophia giggled and sucked her thumb. Artemis smiled. Though she would deny it, she always wanted kids. Dick let out a little smile as Artemis grabbed Sophia's hands and kissed them. Jai whimpered.
"Oh, what's wrong Jai, Jai?" Artemis came over and took Jai out of Dick's arms. "Is Daddy scary?"
"I am not," Dick said though he was clearly enjoying the teasing Artemis was doing. Jai rubbed his head against Artemis's crook of her neck and whimpered again.
"You're tired I know. Let's kick Daddy out so Mommy can get ready and get you two into bed," Artemis said and pushed Dick out of the room before he had time to protest. One of the twins began to scream as soon as she shut the door. Dick listened close to hear what Artemis would do. What she did surprised him.
