Kyle and the other guys convinced Dan to stay at my place for a little while, just to work things out. I was totally open to the idea, already mentally making plans for us to do, as for Dan, he was a bit hesitant. And still is. The guys were nice enough to get another room for me at the hotel, dropping their things off before heading out for a round of drinks. I gave them a rain check since someone had to drive home and the last thing I need is a raging headache throughout the whole drive.

I was just scrolling through my computer, reading some article about the Canadian international equestrian team, when someone knocked on the door, "Hold on," I called, putting my computer down before getting the door.

I frowned when I saw Dan standing there, "I thought you went with the guys?" I asked softly.

He shook his head, "They kinda forced me to stay with you," Dan said with a nervous laugh.

I smiled, "Alright then, come on in," I said, opening the door for him before closing it shut when he step in.

"So, what time do we plan on leaving tomorrow?" Dan asked, sitting on the edge of the bed while his fingers fiddled with the zipper on his jacket.

"I don't know," I said, joining him and picking up my computer from behind him before closing it, "Do you want to be over there by a certain time?" I asked Dan. He gave me a nod and we really left it at that, the rest of the night was spent walking TV and also laughing at the local news stations since they're always cringe worthy. Dan had left around midnight when Kyle came in and asked to unlock their room because someone forgot his key inside. I told Dan to get up at around seven so we could get out of here pretty quickly.

I got a soft knock on the door and quiet voice that told me it was time to get going, making me let out a small groan since I really didn't want to get up. But I had to, there was no other choice, so I got up and headed to the bathroom, brushing my teeth before taking a quick shower, tossing my hair up in a bun since I had no time to deal with it. I got dressed in my Adidas joggers and a T-shirt before I quickly packed up my bags, taking anything that was scattered around the room.

Dan and I left at around 7:30 since we both agreed on a cup of coffee before we left, but after that, it was smooth sailing, well, more driving. We were both able to just pick back up where we left off a couple months ago, talking and joking around throughout the whole car ride, only stopping a few times for bathroom breaks and a snack at some gas station.

We finally arrived back to my flat at around three, both of us pretty much dead, but we did decide to watch movies for the rest of the day like we used to. It was honestly really, really nice to have him around.

Yikes. Sorry for the very short chapter, I've been trying to write this for a while but I've been too busy trying to figure out how to end this book! Ahh! Kinda crazy that it's coming to an end... Anyway, I really hoped you enjoyed it!

-Lots of love, Vanina
