10 Years On ~ OSL Sequel.

Michael's P.O.V.

After a long look at Lexi I decided what I needed to do. 

I followed Ash into the kitchen. 

In the kitchen Ash was fishing out a pizza menu from many in a draw. 

"Ash?" I spoke up from behind him. 

"Woah Mikey, you scared me." Ash breathes after visibly jumping. 

"I'm sorry, listen. I sort of ... want some... advice...... please?" I pull my sleeves over my hands and fiddle with them nervously. 

"Anything." Ash beams at me. 

"How did you do it?" I keep my eyes fixed on my sleeves.

"Do what Mikey?" Ash turns to me fully shutting the draw with his hip, a menu clutched in his large hand. 

"You know ... propose?" I look into his eyes. 

"You mean you want to ask Lexi to marry you?" Ashton says a bit loudly.

"Woah, quieten down a bit. But yes I think I do." I gain more confidence. 

"Don't you think it's a bit early for that?" His eyes narrow.

"What do you mean?" I ask, furrowing my brows in confusion. 

"Well you've only just met again and it's been ten years." I frowns. 

"But she said herself she still loves me and I still love her." I protest, my confidence crashing. 

"Just give it a bit more time Mikey." Ashton closes the small gap between us and pats my shoulder before walking past me into the living room. Running my hands through my hair and taking a deep breath I follow him. 

"Guys I found the pizza menu!" He chucks it at Calum while I sit down on the floor next to Lexi. She snuggles into me as I wrap my arms around her and rest my chin on top of her head. 

"What are you having?" She asks me. 

"I'll probably have a Meat Feast." I shrug.

"You wanna share?" She asks me again.

"With you? I'd share anything." I tell her. 

"That's us sorted then." She giggles. 

We give our order to Ashton who goes into the kitchen to ring up the restaraunt. Just as Ashton exits the room Luke's phone rings. He pulls it out of his pocket and frowns at the screen. 

"It's Liz." He tells Lexi. She frowns too. 

Luke slides his thumb across the screen of his phone before holding it to his ear and walking out the other door. Lexi wriggles herself from my grasp, gives me a quick kiss on the cheek and follows him out. 

LEXI'S P.O.V. 

I wriggle out of Mikey's grip, kiss him on his cheek and follow Luke out of the room. 

"Hey Liz." I hear him say into the phone, attempting to sound happy. 

"Oh you've landed have you....... and you wanted to see me........... and we need to talk............. what about................. oh............I know............... yes I do.................in fact she's standing right in front of me right now." Luke's sea blue eyes lock on to mine as he pulls the phone away from his ear and clicks it onto loudspeaker. 

"Say 'hi' Lexi." There's slight amusement in his voice. 

"Hi mum." I try to smile. 

"Lexi? What are you doing with Luke? I thought you said you would stay away from them." Disapprovent is clear in her tone.
