Chapter 17: Who Will Survive & What Will Be Left Of Them

*Author's note: OH MY GOD. This chapter, is full of emotions. I cried writing the ending of the chapter. I can't decided if I should write the final chapter in Nikki's point of view and then go into the Epilogue, or just leave it like this and have the next chapter as the Epilogue.

It'll be all up to you guys. Let me know in the comments! I don't know if I want it to end yet! So if you guys are settled down on this chapter as being the last chapter being the ending, then I will add the words 'THE END' at the bottom of this chapter. You guys have until Friday to let me know!

Chapter 17: Who Will Survive & What Will Be Left Of Them

Eric’s point of view: couldn’t do it in Nikki’s point of view obviously… she’s not herself at the moment…

            All that’s been on my mind is Nikki. If she’s still alive. If she’s being taken care of. That Thomas man is one bat-shit crazy person. I couldn’t help but worry. He was the one who put that silver knife into my chest. I will get that bastard back for what he did and tried to do: which was to kill me. Anyway, It’s been almost a long ass time, running through the woods, forests, cities, and towns. We have two hours left until we finally get into the Pittsburg area.

As my paws were hitting the ground, they were getting a little bit sore. But I had to fight through the soreness for the sake of Nikki’s life. There’s no knowing what could happen when she turns into the Black Luna. Jack told me that dad had captured his mate. Rebecca was her name.

He told me what she did to him and I couldn’t help but feel sorry for him. His mate was the one who put him in a life or death situation. I feel like this is me right now. Life or death with Nikki. Jack also told me that they put Rebecca into the silver chambers, which is a killer. Every piece of that place is made from pure silver.

Apparently, she couldn’t take it anymore and spilled why they were targeting Nikki. Back when Nikki was a little girl, her parents, well her pack mostly, wiped out Blood Trinity pack, because their goal was to awaken the Black Luna as well. But they didn’t kill off every one of them, as obviously some of them escaped, which Thomas turned into the Alpha and built their pack.

Thomas was set on revenge, for the death of his family, and for Nikki. I don’t know how he figured it out, but he figured it out that she was the successor of being the Black Luna. That’s at least what Rebecca told my dad and Jack.

I could tell that the pack was getting tired, but I couldn’t let them slow down now. We’re almost there. We’re almost in Pennsylvania. Jack and I got a head start but as soon as we were four hours into running, the rest of the pack including the fighter werewolves met up with us.
