41 - Julliard or NYU?

Time skip to May, a month or two before Maya graduates from high school. Maya was also waitlisted at from NYU. And she never heard back from Julliard at all yet. Maya was also told that this was the day that her letter was going to come in. So she sat at home the whole entire day. It soon became around 7:00 PM. Josh wanted to spend time with her at her house so that she wouldn't be bored out of her mind.

Josh was about to knock when all of a sudden, someone else walked up to him. It was a mailman with a letter. The mailman was about to knock as well, but then Josh stopped him by asking him "Is that letter for Maya Penelope Hart Hunter?" The mailman checked, then answered, "Ummm, yeah." "Is the letter from NYU?" Josh asked just like Maya did around a year ago for his acceptance letter. The mailman checked, and then answered, "Nope. It's from Julliard." "Oh. I'll just take that, sir." Josh was about to take it but then the mailman said. "Are you..." He tried to remember the name and then he did and said "Joshua Gabriel Matthews?" "Yeah. Why?" "I remember this scenario last year. When I had to give a letter to you from NYU, and a blonde was out here and your mother gave it to her. Is she your girlfriend?" The mailman questioned. "Yup." Josh replied. "Here ya go." The mailman gave the letter to Josh to give to Maya. "Are you sure you're even allowed to do this?" Josh asked. "I know true love when i see it." The mailman replied then walked out.

Josh was then about to knock on the door, but then, the mailman came running back with another letter in his hand. "This letter is also for Maya Penelope Hart Hunter. And this one is from NYU." The mailman said, out of breath, while giving the letter to Josh. "Thanks, fam." Josh said.

Josh messaged Riley to invite Maya over. She didn't hesitate, she just agreed. Josh heard Maya about to exit her apartment from the front door. He heard her singing while putting her boots on. He knew that she was putting her boots on because he heard the zipper on her boots. But what really grabbed his attention, was her singing voice. He then heard her unlock the door to open it and leave. Right when he heard her unlock the door, he just ran. He entered through Riley's front door. He told the whole Matthews family to sit on the couch and watch TV... He had a plan.

Maya entered through the Bay Window, of course. "Riley?" she questioned to no on answer. No one was in the room. She walked out to the living/family room. When she did, everyone, everyone was casually sitting down on the couch while watching Pretty Little Liars (I love that show) because Riley wanted to. "What's going on?" Maya asked everyone. "I'd like to know that too. Josh?" Topanga asked him. Josh then pulled out the NYU letter. "You want it? Come and get it." Josh told her. "No way. I am a civilized human. I'm going home. Let's go Riley." Maya said as she and Riley walked out. Everyone walked over and sat down on their dinner table. As josh still stood while facing them.

"Three. Two. One." Josh said. And right then, Maya opened the door, and ran towards Josh screaming "Where will I be?!" And then jumped on Josh's back. Josh flew across the room (metaphorically speaking). Eventually Maya grabbed the letter as he let her down. Maya opened it, read it and was surprised by it.
