The highway won't hold you tonight.
They highway don't know your alive. The highway don't care I your all alone.
But I do
The highway won't dry your tears
They highway don't need you here
The highway don't need you home
But I do
I can't live without baby.

I could basically feel my blood run cold as his voice echoed off the walls of out home, shit.
I shut off the shower and threw the the curtain back, I did I little quick dry and threw my hair into a towel wrap and quickly got dressed and brushed out my hair, I didn't worry about cleaning up the excess makeup that had gathered in the little crease that was under my eyes or wash my face.
I just prayed to god he wasn't that mad.

I quickly threw my hair in a ponytail and hurried out of the small bathroom and saw out of the corner of my eye Aidan shoot me a worried glance that I just brushed off, it wasn't of my concern right now.
I made my way to my uncles office and gently tapped my knuckles against the honey colored wood,
"Enter." his voice remained cold, 'cold as his heart...' I scold myself right away for thinking that, my uncle has been nothing but nice to me! It would be awful of me to repay him by thinking such horrid thoughts.
I enter the room with quiet feet and shut the door as quietly as I could, careful to not make any loud noises.

"Hello, Uncle" I dip my head slightly, in respect before sitting down in one of the chairs that say before his hand carved oak desk.
"My niece, how lovely for you to finically return to us." his voice hold a butter tone to it that makes me want to growl down under his desk and apologize a thousand times over.
But instead I just dip my head down and mutter a quiet 'I'm sorry' before looking back up to meet his unseeing gaze, that somehow manages to stare right at me.
"What took you so long to come home?" his tone solid and uncaring.
"I, uh.... Derek wanted to talk to me, but when I had woken up me was gone so i waited -correction - forced to wait for Derek to come back." I bite my lip in nervousness but never tore my gaze off of my uncle.
In a way I wished that I was back with y old pack, I know I wouldn't have to sit and have a painful meeting with Derek over my absence, but "that's not how it was done in the old days" that's all my uncle is about. The old days.
"You will be punished tonight to stay in your room. the is your punishment for this." I had to hold back a scoff, he was grounding me? what the hell, I wanted to storm out of the stupid office and go talk to someone who would understand. So thats exactly what I did.

I stormed out of his office and down to mine and Aidan's room, I grabbed my napsack and started shoving diffrent clothes into my bag and any other things I might need.

Aidan looked at me alarmed by how I had suddnly burst in and he was on me like that,
"Uh... What are you doing?" Uncertiany laced his voice as he timidly reached out and touch my arm, I voilently ripped my arm away and glared at him,
"Don't fucking try to stop me Aidan. And dont let Ethan follow me either."  His eyes widdned slightly in supprise but he slowly backed away, hands up in the air in surrender.
"Uh yeah.. okay? But does your Uncle know that your doing... what ever it is you're doing?"  He asked, gesturing to be bag that was now all but bursting at the seems with clothes and bathroom essentials, I just shook my head.
"No... But he'll find out soon enough." I gave a dry sarcastic laugh as I flung the backpack over my back and headed for the door. "Im sorry." and with thqat I shut the door and headed to the front on the apartment,

"Marcalynn." I was stopped by my uncle, is voice swift and curt.

I  turned around and sent a cold glare up at my uncle, but being that he’s blind.. well it had effect on him. But that didn’t make my glare falter at all. Being that Ethan and two other pack members flanked his sides; I just redirected my gaze to the other three alpha’s that gave me a stern look, but also one of confusion.
“don’t try and stop me.” Was all I said, trying to make my point sweet and short,  Ethan raised an eyebrow at me, as if silently asking me ‘what the hell are you doing’ ,

I really felt just like  a temperamental teenager, telling her parents she was running away from home because of a stupid reason, my reason was that I was grounded… but I guess you could say it was extreme measures.

“Marcey stop over reacting so much.” Ethan said through his teeth, I knew he didn’t know what was going on; my uncle never informed the pack on anything that was going on, but because he was the leader they had no other choice than to listen and be the good little lap dogs my uncle was trying to make them be.

“Oh Ethan, don’t try and pretend you don’t understand what I’m doing. You knew this was coming,” I then turned to I was looking straight at my uncle, “And you knew this was coming too.” And even though he couldn’t see me, I still knew that deep down he knew I was talking to him.

“You will be making a big mistake if you walk out that door my dear.” There was no tone to my uncles expressionless voice, so as I cocked an eyebrow up at him, and a smirk danced it’s was onto my face, I just placed a hand on the door knob,

“I can take care of myself. Thank you very much.” My tone not faltering a bit,

“We will have no reason to not attack your friends.” I bit back a bitter laugh,

“We’ll be waiting. My dear.” I flung the door open as I mimicked my uncles voice, slamming the door behind me. I raced down the twisting halls of the apartment complex, finally coming to the elevator I quickly got in and made my way down, I had officially become an enemy of my uncle and his pack, and I knew what I had to do.

-

I sped over 20 mph over the speed limit as I pulled into the driveway,  I shut the door and pulled my backpack close to my stomach; it being the only thing I have left that is mine.

I timidly walked up to the front door and wrapped on the door with my knuckles,  I felt guilt wash over me like the tide as I heard the footsteps grow closer, there was a pause before the door swung open and there stood  Mr. Stilinski, in his uniform and all.
“Marcey?” I asked, clearly surprised by my sudden appearance after about 6 months, this only made me more guilty for what I was about to ask of him,
“Uh.. yeah hey..” I cleared my throat, trying to get my nerves to settle, even just a little, “So uh... Can I, can I spend the night? I have no place to go.”
