Helllllooo my lovelies! New chappy as promised! I like this one, it made me giggle XD You'll see why... hee hee... I think the song on this side fits this chappy as well as Nat and Morgan's relationship pretty well. I'm going to bow out early, as I am exhausted due to all of the furniture moving and remodling type things I've been doing over the past week thanks to my brother and his 'bright ideas'. So you know the drill, vote, comment, fan, kick your brother's bed whilst dismantling it and end up with a killer bruise, almost knock yourself out with a seven foot long pole whilst changing your curtains, faceplant on your bed after dropping said pole in an attempt to avoid it... Yeah, I really need to go lie down... -_-
Chapter Nineteen - Explosive
Letting out a shrill war cry, I pushed past a stunned Morgan and leapt at the trespasser, pushing out my fist just as they turned around. My knuckles connected with a very squishy nose, and a pair of very surprised pale blue eyes turned pained as blood shot out like a faucet.
Buddy's loud barks and Morgan's laughter rang out behind me, as well as the tell-tale sound of a heavy thud against the floorboards, telling me he'd dropped our only weapon. Not that we needed it, my fists were more than enough to beat my intruder to death with.
"WHAT THE HELL?" Kyle shrieked, clutching his pouring nose in his hands as he stumbled back. "YOU BROKE MY NOSE!"
"DON'T YOU DARE WHAT THE HELL ME!" I screamed. "WHAT THE HELL WERE YOU THINKING?" I asked, stepping forward to land another punch. Unfortunately a strong arm wrapped around my waist just as I'd leapt, pulling me back as my arms and legs pushed out in an attempt of struggle.
"THIS WAS THE SURPRISE!" Kyle yelled at me as his nose continued to gush with dark red liquid, causing a trail down his shirt and a small puddle to form at his feet.
"SURPRISE? SURPRISE?" I screamed in disbelief, all the while Buddy kept barking wildly and Morgan continued to laugh hysterically, his chest reverberating through my spine. "YOU CALL BREAKING INTO MY HOUSE AND SCARING THE SHIT OUT OF ME A SURPRISE?" I demanded.
"YOU WERE SUPPOSED TO BE IN YOUR ROOM TO LET ME IN YOUR WINDOW!" he yelled back.
"NEWSFLASH ROMEO, I'M HOME ALONE! YOU COULD HAVE KNOCKED ON THE GOD DAMNED FRONT DOOR LIKE A NORMAL PERSON!" I screamed over Buddy's verbal attack.
Just as Kyle was about to respond my dog decided it was the perfect time to grow a pair and launched at him, his jaw open wide and his hackles up as he knocked him to the ground. Unfortunately he forgot how to bite, and merely growled angrily as he stood atop his victim.
"GET HIM OFF ME!" Kyle squealed like a fan girl.
Morgan finally let me go and ran around me to grab Buddy by his collar, pulling him off Kyle and leading him into my bedroom before shutting him in.
Kyle had just clambered to his feet when the sounds of sirens filled the air. I exchanged a wide-eyed look with Morgan before racing down the stairs and ripping open the front door to find not only that a police car was pulling up out the front of my house, but most of my close neighbours were standing out in their yards. It was a funny sight, all of them out in the dark wearing their pyjamas as a pair of policemen hopped out of their car, making their way up my path.
"Excuse me miss," the large, dark haired policeman called out, "we received a call about screaming coming from your residence, is everything alright?"
At the precise moment they came to a stop on my front porch, Morgan appeared next to me at the door with a loud, "Ah crap."
Giving him a glare I quickly turned back to the cops and gave them a charming smile. "Yes everything's fine, sorry for the trouble, you can leave now," I said quickly.
