*the next morning*
I woke up to no Mikey by my side. I really wanted to know what he meant by 'I'm happy i found you again' has he been looking for me? Nah that can't be who would want to look for a loser like me, nothing special about me. I sigh and check my phone

I unlock my phone and check the message
Mikey😍💕: sorry I had to go home. Text you later.
I get of my bed and stand im my mirror just staring at my self, pointing out my flaws, and all my insecurities, tears come to my eyes but they don't fall "how can people like me? There's nothing special about me" I said to concentrated on myself in the mirror I didn't know Taylor was standing in the doorway "people don't like you, they pretend to." He said and just laughed. I stared at him and my tears finally fell "I mean look at you! You need to lose weight. Maybe learn how to do some makeup, that will help. And plus your little friend? What's his name Mikey? He practically ran out of this house as soon as you fell asleep" Taylor said and walked away. I felt numb I was still crying I was no longer facing the mirror or the door I was looking out my window. I heard footsteps coming and I wiped my eyes quickly making it look like I wasn't crying "hey Lexie! What are you doing?" I heard matt say from behind me " just looking out the window" I'm guessing my voice sounded sad cuz he just turned me around and hugged me

"What's wrong? Why are you sad. And don't say you aren't because it sounds like you have been crying" matt asked worriedly. "I'm fine I just miss Madison" I said not completely lying "madison? The girl from the school when we picked you up? I thought you said she didn't care." Matt said "yea. She called yesterday saying she didn't mean it. She's my best friend Matt I miss her" I said "Come on let's go eat" matt said "I'll be out in a little" I smile once he left I found a picture of me and Madison and decided to post it on Instagram

I sigh and go to the kitchen and eat with everyone else. "Who's that girl in your picture?" Cam asked "my best friend" I said quietly "what's wrong lex?" Lox asked "nothing Im fine!" I snapped mahogany mumbled a small "sorry" and everyone was staring at me. "Stop looking at me!" I yell at everyone else. They all jump at my sudden outburst "why would people want to stare at you" Taylor scoffed as everyone looked at him in disbelief then to me to see my response. "I don't know what the hell your problem is Taylor!" He interrupted me "I don't have a problem" he smirked "what do you have against me huh?! You say all these things acting like they don't hurt anyone! But In reality there tearing me apart! I'm so insecure that you have no idea and yesterday when I was on the couch with Mikey I heard you call me a whore! When in reality you're the one sleeping around! I haven't had a boyfriend in a while because my ex cheated on me! You have no idea how worthless I feel! I don't have any friends" tears start falling down my face but not because I was sad because I was mad "you have all of these people here Taylor! Be grateful for what you have because it can be gone in a second, what you have can all be fake and disappear! Put yourself in my shoes and see how it feels when someone points out your flaws and makes fun of you!" I said "Lexie I-I'm sorry I-" i cut Taylor off "you didn't know right? That's what you were going to say. I wasn't lying when I said you guys don't know anything about me." I sighed and sat down starting to eat. Everyone was quiet staring at Taylor then back at me. "You guys can eat you know. I'm done I said what I had too" I said they all started eating again with awkward silence. My phone goes off

I stand up and walk to the front door and open it and Mikey automatically wraps his arms around me saying everything will be okay. Once we pull away from our hug I wipe my eyes and see another guy "Hi Im Lexie" I smile "I'm Bryce, Mikey's best friend" he said "so what are you guys doing here?" I ask "I wanted to see you" Mikey said "well yea he did but I came along and thought about going to the beach? You down for that?" Bryce said "heck yea I am. I just need to go change" I said as I let them come inside. I went to go change and I started hearing yelling. I roll my eyes 'what can it be this time' I thought. As I walked out I see Shawn and Johnson are the ones yelling "who the hell do you think you are?! You can just show up and start taking her places like if she lives alone! You have to ask permission" Johnson yells "dude calm down. I'm not doing anything bad I'm just a friend, taking a friend out" Mikey said. Oh friend zoned. "You are taking her away from us! When she is supposed to bond with us and get along with us! You take her and we can't get close to her!" Shawn yelled. "Woah. Woah. woah. Honestly you guys need to chill. Did you not hear her yell at this Taylor guy? We were going to come over and watch movies with her but when we got here we heard her yelling. So we decided that it's better she goes out and gets away from you people, what ever you guys are to her, and just let her relax. You guys are acting like we are going to something bad to her" Bryce said "that's why she needs to stay to work things out with Tay-" I interrupt Johnson "i don't have to do what either of you guys tell me. I don't have to listen to any of you just Matt he's my brother. So stop being like this. After all me and Mikey are just friends" I said sounding a little sad at the end.

*Mikeys pov*
Now she thinks I only want to be her Friend?! I just friend zoned myself. Ughhhhh

*lexies pov*
"Come on guys" I say is i pull Mikey and Bryce out of the house. "I'm sorry about them" I say looking down "hey don't worry it's not your fault they are being like this" Bryce said. I nod and we get into Mikey's dark blue mustang. "I love your car." I said trying to start a conversation with Mikey because he's been really quiet since I said 'we were just friends' but he said it first. "Thanks" he said and turned on the radio. I started whispering the lyrics of the song and got lost in the song I didn't realize they turned it down and were looking at me. "Woah she can sing too and you were saying this was the girl who was always alone at school? The one we would alway try to talk to but we were always stopped?" Bryce said "yup that's her" Mikey said smiling "oh we're here beautiful" Mikey said and winked. Bryce was already out of the car, I blushed and looked Down "hey you're cute when you blush. Don't hide it" Mikey said putting his index finger under my chin to make me look at him and he started leaning in, i did too "come on guys hurry up" Bryce said ruining the moment. Mikey groans and gets out of the car I follow him.

*time skip, on there way to drop Lexie of at her house*
Mikey walks me to the door "I had a great time today" he said and smiled "me too" I smiled. It started getting awkward then Mikey said "I didn't mean to friend zone you. They were just on my back and I said that I'm sorry" I giggled and said "it's fine, I have to go inside" i started opening the front door when Mikey turns me toward him and kisses me. I was taken by surprise but I kissed back. He pulls away "I'll see you around beautiful" and he leaves. I just stand there shocked at what had just happened as matt pulls me inside "why so smiley?" He asked "Im tired Im going to sleep" I said and walked away to my room and changed. I laid down and started drifting to sleep when my phone got a text

I smile at the text and fall asleep.
