Chapter 4

On Monday morning, I grabbed a croissant and walked to school. I made my way to my locker, when I saw Serena.
"Hey, S." I said.
She ignored me.
"Look, I know you're mad at me. I had no right. I'm sorry."
She paused for a moment.
"Its ok." She said and hugged me.
No point in holding grudges.
"I need to get to class. I'll see you later. Bye S." I walked off.

Then, there was another blast.
"S and L hugging like all is forgiven. Is it for real this time or is this just another fake friendship?
XOXO, Gossip Girl."
"I'm so happy to see you guys friends again!" Blair exclaimed.

"Hey, Leah? CanI talk to you?" Nate scratched the back of neck as he approached me on the MET steps.
"Ooh, hey Nate. Do you have a pencil? I wanna erase your past and write our future." I said.

He looked at me, baffled.
"I'm just kidding. Loosen up a little." I laughed.
"God, Nate." Blair rolled her eyes playfully.

"Do you want to go to a movie?"
"Just as friends?" I teased.
"Yeah-yeah. Just as friends." He stammered.
"Sure." I smiled and hit his shoulder.

"See you at the cinema then." he shot me a boyish grin.

"See you." I winked.
"What was that?" Serena laughed.
"I donno. Nate's cute."
Serena smirks and shakes her head.
"I hate you, Leah." She chuckles.

I left my suite and walked to Central Park. I loved that place.
"Hey, Nate, we need to talk. Meet me at Central Park." I said into the phone.
"Okay, see you there. I need to tell you something too." He said and hung up.

Within a few minutes, Dan and I were sitting on a bench in the park.

"Okay, so I don't know how to say this, but I love Serena and you have to go apologise to her." I tell him.
He nods.
"Nate, she's my best friend and I'm just now realising that we hurt her. We have to ask her if she's okay with it."
"Whatever you want." He smiles.

"Were late for our movie. Let's go." He pulls me towards a cab. We finally manage to find one and slide in. Nate smirks and kissed me, and I kiss him back passionately. Our kiss is hot and sexy.
