Jimin felt empty. Drained out after saying everything he did. Your mother stared at him.
He turned around. stepping out once again. He walked all the way out to the front yard without a certain direction. He just wanted to disappear from your sight. The rain quickly consumed him. He was drenched in seconds. Your mom planned on letting him go and telling you he left, but you were smarter than that. She put her hood on and crossed her arms, protecting herself from the cold rain as she went after him.
"Jimin stop. Come back," she said, but Jimin refused to even face her. His tears threatened him.
"JIMIN," she sais loudly. He stopped.
"I cant even face her! I cant take advantage and be living in the same roof as her knowing what I did! This IS my fault and I'm taking responsibility for it. You and her don't have to see me again. My mother, ill call her later. Please take care of (y/n). I will beg for her forgiveness soon, but for now, I don't dare let her look at me." His tears blurred his vision, but he dared not let your mom see them. He took out his car keys and got in his car, driving off.
You saw him drive away from your window. He was gone. Your mom watched him leave too. She went inside and found his mom sitting there, heartbroken as well. "Im sorry my son didnt protect your daughter." Your mom wasnt angry at his mom. Just hurt. She looked away and went back into her study. His mom also felt like she didnt belong there anymore, but she stayed to care for you.
*****************
A month passed.
Jimin had stayed at his friend Suga's house. Of course he explained to him the situation and expressed how he felt. Suga listened and came to give him short advice.
"Go see her. Talk to her. Tell her how you feel and ask her to forgive you," he said. Jimin thought about it every day. You were the only one in his mind. He drove past your house every day after work and only looked up to your window, wondering how you had been doing.
He had been looking for the man who hurt you, searching for clues to lead him closer and closer. With the help of his friends, he was able to identify him. He had gone to the police. You had testified and described the mans physical appearance, but the police didnt seem to bother look for him only because you were alive. Namjoon, Jimin's friend, was able to get him the sketch and even some information on the man. It seemed that he had done the same thing before but in another city. Unfortunately he did kill his other victim and was sentenced to ten years only because she had no family to claim her.
Jimin had looked for him. The man had left his job and fled who knows where. Jimin felt desperate to no be able to find him. He walked alone one night, wondering where else to look. The case had been closed and they had treated it as forgotten, abandoned. Jimin walked by a poorly lit street, going back to Suga's home after having a couple of drinks. He wasnt drunk at all but was slightly buzzed.
He walked the street with his hood on and his hands in his sweaters pockets, walking against the wind and shivering. A man walked towards him, obviously drunk. Jimin watched him as he walked towards him. The man bumped into Jimin and laughed. "Oh fuck. I didnt see you my bad," he said stumbling sideways. Jimin looked at him and furrowed his eyebrows. "Its fi-" wait. This was the man of the drawing. Jimins eyes widened.
He found him.
He watched how the guy laughed and stumbled past him. That smile was the one you saw back then. It angered him to think that this guy touched you. It disgusted him to see that smile freely walk around the city as if he hadn't done anything. The man walked around as if he didnt even remember hurting you. Jimin turned around towards him and grabbed him from the back of the jacket. With all his force and anger, he threw him to the side towards the dark alley to their right. The man, drunk out of his mind, fell, not knowing what had caused him to fall.
Jimin dragged him towards the darkest place. He pulled him up and stared straight into his eyes, his anger flashing right through the man. "Its your turn," Jimin said. The man looked confused, afraid.
"Wh-o are you?!" he said.
*Jimin's POV*
"I know you Jae Seong," I said.
The man seemed surprised that I knew his name. "Let me go!" he said, but I would never. I looked around and found my weapon. A full carton of empty beer bottles by the trashcan. I grabbed one, smashing it across the wall and holding it against his temple. This was justice. All i could see was (y/n)'s frail body the day I found her and he probably thought it was a joke. Hurting her that way, taking her life away was her objective and it was mine now. I didnt think of the consequences. I didnt care about the future right now. I had him in my hands and it was my turn to hurt him now.
My eyes watered in anger, my teeth clenched as I wrapped my hand around his throat, slamming his head onto the cold brick wall. I stabbed the bottle into his stomach. "How does this feel?! TELL ME HOW IT FEELS YOU SICK FUCK!" I screamed at him, but he just stared at me. I twisted the broken bottle in further. I felt how the pieces broke inside him with each twist. They snapped and grinder against his insides. I stabbed him repeatedly, so many times..I felt his struggle under my grip. I felt his warm blood in my hand, splattering on my face. I was shaking from anger, from rage and satisfaction that I was finally bringing revenge to (y/n)'s pain. I trembled as I moved from stabbing his stomach to stabbing his chest. I saw his eyes stare at me with immense fear, the same way (y/n) looked at him. The same plead, the same scream for help.
Silence, disbelief that this was happening now. Each time the glass slid deep into his chest, I hoped he realized what he had done. " TELL ME WHY YOU DID IT. WHY DID YOU HURT HER?" I screamed at him, but he didnt respond. He too was slipping away. As my sanity came back to realization, I saw what I had done. A fallen man in front of me. His body and mine covered in the sam blood. A woman screamed. (y/n). What have I done. My face was hot with flowing tears that mixed with the blood of a dead man. My white knuckled showed how tightly I held the bottle that ended his life. I turned to the woman who was screaming. "Im not a murderer," I said. She frantically moved away as I walked towards her, away from the bloody scene I had caused. I looked down at my clothes, stained with red tint. Me, committing murder. I did it to protect her but now I'm the murderer. I saw my reflection on the puddle on the ground next to me. I saw what that woman saw and knew the fear she felt.
I looked around in panic and let go of the broken glass in my hand as I ran out of the horrid scene. My heart is racing. Where do I go? I looked around, theres people walking the streets. A memory of her filled my mind as I ran to her house. I just murdered a man. I kept running as I saw her house at the turn of the corner, hiding from the world. I stopped at the front of her doorstep. Once again I looked down. I looked at my hands, bloody. My heartbeat felt heavy and afraid. My eyes now swollen looked up at her door just inches away. I knocked slowly and looked down, hiding my tears and staring at my hands. My breathing was quick and heavy.
The door opened and light focused on me. I saw my clothes, red. My eyes turned to look up at a pair of feet. They stood there without saying a word.
