Manik was still under the custody and he was beaten by the guards. Manik was weak but he was not that much that he can't oppose them but he dint want to show his power.

They were asking the questions to manik which were totally unrelated to him. The whole day went like this where nandini and manik were weak and they are suffering with pain.

The new morning and definitely it will be a change to the people who are the most suffered ones yesterday. Manik slowly opened his eyes only to see three people standing in front of him.

"What is your name??' they asked him for the first time and manik slowly looked at them

"Manik" he spoke in his attitude. Indeed he will become weak due to curse but he comes out as the strongest person the next day. He will be in a position to do anything and no one can stop him except his mate. All the people were shocked because yesterday he was looking so weak and today he was looking like a person who had some tonnes of energy stored in him in spite of having injuries all over his body.

"There will be some surname right for every person then what is it for u" the person asked and the light fall on the person and he was the beta of the pack the druv vedant. His words made manik ponder over his flashback scenes

FLASHBACK

"Manik you don't have a value outside if u don't use ur surname" spoke a person who was sitting in the dark place opposite to manik

"Rather than using the surname for my own benefit I prefer to die because u know the work u did MOM made me think that y I had born in this area because if I had born in other place then I wouldn't have suffered" he spoke and the lights turned on and his mother was sitting opposite to him

"Whatever I have done it's for the pack and it's benefit" she spoke supporting her statement which she made a while ago in the pack meeting

"Really mom then let me tell I am leaving because I can't stand with this decision of urs" he spoke and was about to leave from the house and his mother know that it was coming

"Fine but don't u dare use the name of malhotra anywhere because I don't want my pack to become target for anyone because of u" she spoke while manik gave a chuckle out.

"Even if u ask I am not going to use the name" he spoke and came out from the house and left his pack.

FLASHBACK ENDS

Manik was bought out from the thoughts when he felt a sharp pain in his shoulder. He saw towards it and found that druv hit him with a rod on his injury. The anger of the manik rose to a peak level. If condition would not be this then he might have broken the head of druv by now.

He looked at him with angry eyes which made druv afraid for a while but later he came out and pretended to be brave

"I asked what is ur surname" he asked again hoping to get an answer but getting an answer from manik when he is angry is next to impossible.

"I don't have the use of telling u so stop this and leave me alone" manik roared in his angry tone which echoed all over the pack jail. All the people near manik got frightened for a second and they left from there.

LOCATION: NANDINI ROOM

The alpha of the pack was careessing nandini hair while she was in sleep. She slowly opened her eyes feeling her father touch. She smiled at him but the smile soon faded away when nandini felt a sharp pain near her shoulder.

"Ahhaa" she shouted in pain which made the alpha shock and he immediately took her in his arms and tried to comfort her but nandini was not all calming down. He ultimately took her to the place where she can get calm I.e. her birth place. She then instantly felt calm and he smiled looking at her. Now even her pain was suppressed.

"he is not speaking anything" mind linked druv the beta of the pack to his alpha who was spending time with her daughter

"what was that stupid name?" asked his alpha through the mind link

"MANIK "came druv answer

"ok I am coming to meet him" he spoke and he was about to go but his daughter nandini  stopped him

"dad I will come with u" asked nandini Looking him

"are u sure nandini asked alpha as he was not sure after her pain

"yes dad came nandini reply

They both went to the prison and then nandini felt something when she saw manik there and she went near him and touched his cheeks and he looked at her with his chocolate brown eyes

N: who are u why I am feeling attracted towards u??

Before she can continue the alpha took her in his arms

A: no nandini don't feel anything like that to him because he is death to anyone because he is very bad

Manik heard this and chuckled and looked at nandini and slowly she faded away from his eyes as the alpha took her away

M: even I feel attracted to u but I can't do it

The people in the prison was shocked to see nandini touching manik and the words she spoke was not heard by anyone there as they were at a distance.

Alpha took nandini out from there to her room.

"Nandini beta what was that??" He asked her lovingly as he know his anger will destroy the things.

"Don't know dad but when I see him u felt like all the answers to my problems is near him and all the answers I want are near him only" she spoke still thinking of manik and his face came in for the of her eyes which made the alpha shock.

Alpha nodded his head and then he made her sleep. Alpha then once again went to his priest

"Guru ji nandini felt a sudden pain in her shoulder today and her pain got suppressed when I took her to her birth place" alpha asked the priest making him smile

"That's because her mate was injured on his shoulder and she was calm in her birth place because it was the place where she feel connected to his mate and her wolf becomes happier when she is there" he spoke and alpha nodded his head in understanding

"Guru ji nandini was getting attracted to the new prisoner" the alpha spoke and the priest was shocked but towards it

"Yeah may be he is somewhere related to her mate and I will say to keep him as close as possible to nandini because she will be calm with the things that are related to her mate" he spoke making alpha shock but he just nodded his head and was about to go from the exit but the priest words stopped him on his tracks

"Remember one thing Nandini is now 14 and her mate is 17 which means that they still have four years to know that they are mates for eachother and nandini will shift when she is 16 and that time her mate will be with her and if her mate is not there then she will make the world upside down... Her mate is very close to her and if my views are correct then she might have already met him but dint recognise his scent" the priest spoke and the alpha was shocked because his daughter life was becoming a path with full of speed breakers. He was in his thoughts and was moving in the pack aimlessly and suddenly there was a attack on him......
