Chapter 14

Chase P.O.V

"Chase your..."

My heart was beating so face right now, I started swearing. I am what? What am I?. To say I'm scared right now is an understatement. Mr Davenport and Leo both looked at pale as they told Adam and showed him a picture on the desk. I couldn't make out the picture from inside my capsule. Why are they keeping me the dark so long?. I should know!

"I am what?", I asked looking at Mr Davenport. Mr Davenport looked at me but continues to talk to Adam as Bree and Tasha walked over. This is starting to annoy me. 

"I am what!", I demanded, I should know if some think is wrong with me.

"Chase your...Pregnant", Mr Davenport says and let out a breathe.

I nod and walk out of my capsule, "Oh so not as bad as I though- wait what?!", I ask. Pregnant really. Oh god. What. Wow. How. "How is that even possible?", I then ask as I looked at  Adam who just smiled weakly. Mr Davenport shrugged a little, "I have no idea..But I'm looking into it", Mr Davenport says softly. "Training and missions will be too dangerous for you to do right now", Mr Davenport says and Adam nodded in agreement. "I need to process this", I say softly and sighed a little. They all nodded.

I walked up the stairs, trying to get it too go through my head. How?.

"What the hell?", I mumbled to myself. "What the hell?!", I then shouted. I am so comfused. I don't understand. This must be a joke but then they wouldn't joke about something like this.

A couple off hours later, I was laying on my bed. I heard a knock at the door.
"Yeah?", I said quitely. "It's me", He said. I instantly knew it was Adam. "Come in Adam", I say softly. Adam opened the door and layed next to me.
"You okay Chasey?", He asked softly. I nodded, "I think so...I'm just a little confused", I say softly. It was a lot to take it.
"I'm kind off excited", Adam says and put his hand over my belly gently. He was being ever so carefull, it was nice. I smile, "Your excited?", I asks smiling. He nodded, "I am very", He said softly. "It will be nice to have a child", Adam them added on to what he said before. I nodded slightly, "I suppose your right", I say.

"It's okay to be nervous Chase but you will do fine", Adam said softly. "We will do fine", Adam added on it. I smile at Adam softly, "We will". Adam chuckles a little and nodded slightly, kissing Chase's cheek.

"It's going to be okay", Adam said and hugged me gently. I instantly relaxed into Adam's arms as I though quitely.
