"this is both of you two's fault, UGH!" jennie complained to the two who just finished their little fight.
"i am not the one to blame, chaeyoung was the one who pounced on me. not the other way around." lisa still held that smirk of hers which chaeyoung wanted to just rip off her face.
"just shut up okay. you're honestly super annoying." chaeyoung has given up and just rested her head on one side of the desk. she puffed out a long sigh thinking about the long hours she'd have to spend with them. she cried in her head while thinking about it, though the tears were threatening to come out in real life.
"okay let us all just calm down. lets also stop bothering people," jennie shot a glare at lisa, "yeah i'm talking about you blondie."
lisa threw her hands up in surrender and shrugged, "no clue what you're blabbering about woman, to be honest."
jisoo rolled her eyes and approached the annoyed jennie.
"hi jennie, you seem the most normal here. wanna try to at least get along?" jisoo greeted her with a smile.
in the corner of the room chaeyoung shouted, "hey i heard that! i'm normal too, it's just the brat behind me." that earned chaeyoung another kick from lisa. then continued their argument once again.
"whatever..." jisoo muttered under her breath.
"look i'm really busy trying to study here for the exams coming up. so i would really appreciate it if you left me alone." jennie poked her head out the book she was studying and shoved a fake smile up jisoo's way.
jisoo became flustered and muttered an, "oh okay..."
so much for making friends. jisoo thought.
"just saying the exams aren't for another month and a bit..." jisoo said quietly but loud enough for jennie to hear.
"look time is ticking and i need to get perfect results. that's all that matters." jennie claimed while writing notes down in a fast speed.
that girl needs a chill pill. jisoo thought not daring to say it aloud.
"hey you! the jisoo girl!" jisoo spun her head to lisa with a confused expression. "what now?" jisoo groaned.
"how did such a goodie goodie end up here along with that nerd?" jennie scoffed at the comment but chose to ignore her.
jisoo hesitated but answered anyways.
maybe she wants to be friends with me? oh yay!! jisoo was determined to make friends.
"oh well um... i was getting bullied- the usual, then i kinda cracked it when she hit me and mentioned my um, parents. so i attacked my bully, well bullies. the principal just came wrong timing."
lisa's eyes softened at the girl as she carefully eyed her body and face.
bruises and cuts were visible all over her body and she only noticed now the bruise glowing below her right eye. she took a glance at her wrists and painfully looked away.
she self-harms... that was me last year...
lisa became speechless and slowly nodded her head. chaeyoung brought her head up and looked at the girl, she noticed too.
jennie was lowkey listening as jisoo was speaking and instantly felt bad for snapping at her earlier.
"so how about you lisa?"
and from that a spark of friendship has begun between the four.
