It's always pretty odd when you get texts like this from numbers you've never seen. Due to th fact that she hasn't left her bed today and therefore hasn't spoken to anyone outside her family, Landry concludes that her number was mistaken for someone else's.
On most days, Landry would send a simple text explaining that the individual who messaged her had the wrong number or just outright ignore the message, but sitting bored in her new room as her family members who don't share her trait of laziness continue to unpack the last of their things from their big move, Landry was feeling very bored. Though messing with some stranger over iMessage didn't exactly scream exciting, it was at least something to do.
