Landry read the text in front of her multiple times not being able to believe that Ricky really said that. After 5 minutes of blankly staring at her phone she chucks it at the foot of the bed and dives headfirst into plethora of pillows on her.

Having never experienced anything like this before, Landry had no idea how to feel right now. What's the appropriate emotion to feel when someone you've never even met, tells you they love you after weeks of ignoring you.

It's times like this where she wished she had a best friend like the type you see in the movie. One who would show up with pizza, chocolate and tissues at a simple SOS text.

Even though she was feeling every possible emotion all at once, Landry didn't want to feel anything at all.

She just wanted to chuck her phone down the toilet, and get a new one with a new number so Ricky would have no way of contacting her, but for once in her life she was able to recognize that taking the easy way out this, was not the correct approach to take.

After about an hour of her racking her brain she finally comes up with something to say.

LANDRY
that is the worst possible thing you could've said

RICKY

LANDRY
I'm positive that you don't

RICKY

LANDRY
Ricky i don't want to go off into a highly unnecessary conversation about the feelings you think you have for me bc after months of trying I realize  I can't and that's fine, but when you lose that delusion as an attempt to justify your actions in just makes me upset

Haven't updated in 6 months. Wow I'm sorry but like can we just take a minute to appreciate this chapter. Like communication??? talkin thru problems??? talking about feelings seriously??? can we just appreciate Landry and Ricky for fixing their issues rather than avoiding them....
