Baptism

Everyone is a sinner before baptism, even babies. It is called ‘original sin.’ Babies deserve to be baptized and saved from sin because even little babies can have the ability to have faith. Babies are part of all nations and all nations should be baptized. Babies need what baptism due to them being sinners. Jesus especially includes little children to come to him. Babies are conceived in sin and all have sin and fall short of God’s glory. In baptism, God cleans your soul of sin. People call it ‘born again’ because he makes you new and you have no more original sin, obviously. Also, being baptized gets rid of ‘Old Adam’ which is what you get with original sin. In baptism, Old Adam is drowned daily. It is important to be baptized because being baptized makes you a child of Christ. Being baptized and taught nurtures and strengthens your faith. Being baptized gives you renewal of your faith, leaves you feeling refreshed knowing you no longer have original sin and it leaves you connected to God.
