The palace has always been my favourite place on earth. With its high ceilings, polished floors, it's amazing. The architecture is breathtaking and flawless. I could get lost in just thinking about it.
Sarah showed us the great room, dining room and ballroom on the first floor
"Your rooms will be on the 2nd floor" She informed us as we moved up the stairs "3rd floor is out of bounds. That is the Royal family's rooms and offices are. You must have an invitation to go up there" Some girls giggled at that part
As we walked down the 2nd-floor corridor she started to list off names and point to doors. Girls walked into their rooms to meet their maids.
10 doors down Piper's name was called. She waved and walked into her new room. Another 5 doors down Sarah called my name and pointed to my room. Across the hall from me is Katie Gardener, a 7 from Bonita. My neighbours are Silena Beauregard, 2 from Carolina and Olympia Whitfield, a 3 from Zuni.

I walked into my room to see a large king size bed on the right wall, a grand fireplace on the left and a large window on the far wall.

Standing in the middle of the room stood three girls.
One I immediately recognised has Hazel Levesque, my only girl friend here at the palace. She's 14. She had her dark frizzy hair out and her gold eyes were full of excitement.
In the middle was a redhead girl with black-rimmed glasses. She looked to be about 21 and had brown eyes.
The third girl was tall, had long black hair and sky blue eyes. She looked about 15
"Hello, Lady Annabeth. My names Justine, this is Hazel and Alicia" The redhead, Justine, introduce her self. They all bowed, Hazel was the first one up and she squealed
"Annabeth!" She came running up to me to give me a hug
"You look beautiful! Percy's going faint!"
I laughed at her excitement
"Hopefully right into his maple syrup drowned blue pancakes!"
I looked over at the other girls to be just staring at us with shock
"What was that?" Alicia asked
"Alicia! Don't be rude!" Justine scolded
"That's okay Justine. Hazel and I are close friends" I smiled reassuringly
"Oh"
"Well miss, we must get you ready for dinner" Justine explains
"Am I not already ready?"
"We just need to touch up your makeup and fix your hair"
Hazel guided me over to the bathroom and sat me down on a stool that was set up in front of the mirror. They started to put bobby pins into my hair and touch up my make up
