Dayal was quite for a few minutes. Whatever the lady told was running in his mind. His heart was beating fast. His mind was busy with pros and cons of his decision.
Some minutes passed in dazed. When Dayal heard the scream of his wife,he came to sense.
He ran into the room of his wife and began to console her.
Madhuri was now crying bitterly in her husband's arm. She knew that her mother-in-law will again force Dayal to remarry. She will be their slave. Her fear and insecurities were rising.
Dayal felt that his wife had stopped crying. Now she was rigid in his arms. He called her softly. But no respond came. So he shooked her forcefully. And that broke the trance of madhuri.
Dayal"Madhu I have decided something for both of us. Will you accept my decision??"
An unknown fear gripped Madhuri's heart. But she trusted her husband. So she nodded.
