Chapter 14

Nagisa and Karma were walking up the mountain. Then the bluenette suddenly suck his breath when he saw the old classroom coming into sight. He just couldn't help but get nervous. He don't know what would everyone's reactions be if he tells them the truth. He have already made a lot of really good friends in the E class. And he don't want to lose them.

Karma seemed to notice his worried expression. He grabbed Nagisa's small hands in his and squeezed them. Nagisa looked up at him, and Karma gave him a reassuring smile.

"Don't worry. I told you, right? Whatever they'll say, I'll always be here with you. And I doubt that they'll ever see you differently."

Nagisa smiled back at the red-head. Giving his hand a gentle squeeze back. "I suppose you're right, Karma."

I'm so glad he's here.

"I always am!" The actor said proudly, a grin was on his face.

"Yeah, whatever." Nagisa rolled his eyes a little, and chuckled. And the two continued walking to the rundown classroom.

Karma grabbed the door and slid it open. Everyone's head turned to the door. They all went silent when they saw the them, since they were missing for the past days. A few long uncomfortable moments passed before the girls began tackling the poor boy to the ground. And he was suddenly bombarded with questions.

"Nagisa-kun! Where have you been? You haven't been coming to school this past week!" Kayano asked frantically, shaking Nagisa's shoulder, like she was some kind of a worried-sick mother.

"Hey, stop shaking him and get of him. He was just hospitalized, you know?" Karma said, helping the boy up.

"Oh, hospitalized..." Rio's eyes snapped open when she realized what Karma meant. "Wait, what do you mean Nagisa got hospitalized?!"

The bluenette winced a bit at the sudden yell. He backed off only to feel Karma's hands on his shoulder, stopping him. He looked at Karma, and then he just gave him a small smile and a nod.

"Don't worry. I'm sure they'll never judge you."

Nagisa nodded, knowing that the red-head was right. He looked at his classmates who were eagerly and intently waiting for his response. He took a deep breath.

"My mum tried to kill me." And a really loud scream of 'WHAAAAT?!' was heard in the room.

"What do you mean your mum tried to kill you, Nagisa?" Sugino, his best friend asked, worry was evident in his tone.

He began explaining everything. From his mother's abuse, to her attempt on killing him, to Karma who came and helped. And to his mother being arrested. Though he made it a bit vague about his self-harming and especially, he didn't tell them about he and Karma are dating now. Karma just stood behind him, staying quiet. And giving him a little reassuring squeeze in the hand.

"Nagisa... I'm so sorry." Kayano hugged the bluenette as she apologized as if everything that had happened to Nagisa was all her fault. Nagisa smiled lightly and hugged her back. He heard Karma groaned and clicked his tongue behind him, trying to control his jealousy meter from raising. He knew he can't tell everyone that he's dating Nagisa because he had promised him that they are not going to tell them and everyone else in the world unless Nagisa is ready to.

But to Karma. He just really wanted to tell the whole world about it so damn much, and Nagisa is honesty really worried about it.

"You don't have to say sorry, Kayano-chan." Nagisa smiled at the green-haired girl and breaking the hug.
