The Game

This is just a thought. Not directed at anyone specifically or anyone in general. Just a thought.

Some people work so hard. They work work work to break through the levels and advance and keep going till they reach the top.

Then they stop. They get lazy. They expect others to do the work they did. And to an extent- yes. That is what is supposed to happen.

But you're not supposed to plateau once you reach the top.

You're supposed to keep going. Supposed to keep working as hard as you can- even once you've gone the farthest you can. You've got to maintain. You can't reach your goal then be satisfied with that. You have to keep advancing. Keep working. Keep. Getting. Better.

Otherwise somewhere along the lines, there is going to be another like you. Another one who works and works and works and doesn't stop.

Then it's too late to keep working.

Then they surpass you.

And you lose.

You have to stay ahead of the game.

Otherwise, you lose.
