'Do the right thing, cut the rope and let me fall'
- Cut the Rope by Charlotte OC

After breakfast, I told Alan I would see him later and that there was something I needed to do. He didn't question me on it but I could see the curiosity of what I get up to in his eyes. I couldn't tell him I was allowed to go anywhere within the facility and don't sleep in my cell where I should be but he says nothing and I don't bring it up. I go inside the large house in search of Louis.

I go through the dining room glancing in before coming into the kitchen. No one was in here and I'm about to head to Louis' bedroom when Lucy bumps into me from behind with a small 'oof' followed by a quick apology.

"It's fine." I smile down at her and she frowns at me in confusion before a look of realisation crosses her face.

"Have you seen Louis?"

"Yes, in fact he's been in his office for a while now." She bites her lip in worry. "You should go check on him. He'd be happy to see you." Lucy smiles and my eyes widen before letting out a small breath.

"O-ok." I stutter before throwing a goodbye over my shoulder to Lucy who only smirked in amusement before shaking her head playfully. I made my way to his office.

As I stood on the opposite side of the door I was about to reach out for the handle, hesitating when a large shout could be heard. I frowned in concern before lifting my hand to knock on the hardwood door.

"Come in." Louis' tone was cold and sounded stressed as he called me in and I gulped, opening the door and showing my face. When Louis saw me he only seemed to become more stressed, running a hand through his hair. I bite my lip making my way into the room.

"Is this a bad-"

"You!" My head turns to the side as Max rages, pointing a finger at me. His eyes menacing as he looks me up and down in disgust. I take a step back.

"Of course it's you! You're everywhere you little spy-"

"Woah." I hold up my hands wide eyed to which Max narrows his eyes at me, if looks could kill. I turn to Louis in curiosity and slight worry. "What's wrong?"

"That's none of your business traitor." Max sneers but I don't look at him. My eyes focusing on Louis with his face in his hands. He looks up at me and my stomach drops when I see the conflicting look he gives me. My eyebrows furrow in confusion.

"Louis what's-"

"Look at me when I'm talking to you you little bastard!" Max's voice booms as he walks the short distance over to me, grabbing a fistful of my shirt and pulling me closer to him. His face centimetres from mine. I flinch in his grip but he only pulls me tighter as he narrows his eyes into slits at me. "You've done this. You've ruined him. I hope you're happy."

"I don't know what you're talking about." I raise my voice slightly agitated, flicking my gaze to Louis but Max pulls my hair back making me turn my head to him. My eyes meet his evil ones and in that moment all I feel is anger and frustration towards him. I narrow my eyes and grit my teeth as I shove him off of me. He's shocked at first and I take advantage of his state, pushing him away from me and making him stumble against the wall. I hold my ground as I glare down at him.

"Don't you ever touch me again you piece of shit." My mouth seems to have a mind of its own as I spit these words out at him. These words being bottled up since the first time we met and it seems I'm not letting him go easy.
