"You sure that you're gonna go today?" I ask her.

"For the sixth time, I feel fine!" she tells me, hands on her hips, determination on her face.

"Okay, okay! Just checking!" I say, hurriedly.

I take a step closer to her.

"Guess who just got their phone back?" I ask.

"I don't know? Can you give me a hint?" she asks, thoughtfully.

"Welp, he's one of the coolest monsters around," I say.

"Papyrus!" she cries.

"Guess again!" I tell her, laughing.

"Unfair! He's super cool!" she pouts, arms folded.

"That's true," I tell her.

"Then give me another hint," she says.

"Okay, he lives on the surface now," I tell her.

"Oh! Is it Asgore?" she asks.

"What? No. I'm not even sure where he is," I say, a little surprised.

"I need more hints!" she cries, falling back on her bed.

I pull her up to face me.

"I'll give you one more hint," I tell her.

"What is it?" she asks.

"Welp, he's about to kiss you in 3... 2..."

I lean forward and she puts her arms around me.

Her lips make contact with my smile, and I close my eyes.

I don't know if I'm doing the right thing.

Falling for a human?

It might not be the best for her either.

I don't know how any of this happened, but I haven't hated it. In fact, I have loved seeing her so happy and excited. I've loved spending time with her and I've grown to love her even more.

She's so sweet and cute. But I still don't know if it's what's best for her.

I'll let it go for now, but I am still concerned.

She steps back, and says, "Is it you?"

I pull my phone out my pocket.

"It is," I tell her, handing her the phone.

"What do I want it for?" she asks.

"So you can put your number in it," I tell her, "Just in case in we get separated."

"Okay then," she says, sighing, and punches her number into my contacts.

"I'll make sure it's not a fake," I grin, pressing the call button.

Her phone beeps from it's place on her bedside table.

"Good," I say, as she rolls her eyes at me.

"Why would I give you a fake number?" she asks, sounding exasperated.

"Because you don't like me?" I say, pouting.

"Why would I not like you?" she laughs.

I smile at her and say, "I don't know, everyone likes me. I'll never find out the answer to that question."

"Bonehead," she says, giving me a playful nudge in the ribs.

"Frisk!" Toriel calls from the kitchen, "Thalia's here!"
