As soon as I see Jin coming our way with two serving trays carefully balanced on his arms, I immediately stand up and rush over to help him. Finally a moment to detach from them and move around, albeit for a split second.

'Here, let me take that one,' I say as I relieve him of one tray.

'Thanks, I think I wouldn't have made it to the table.' He smiles gratefully, his eyes lighting up as well.

We serve the food and sit down, ready to eat. Well, some of us. Not all of the boys chose a snack. Taehyung and Jungkook share a piece of caramel carrot cake, Hoseok has an Italian sandwich and Jin is happily eating a cinnamon roll. Yoongi and Namjoon are enjoying their espressos. Jimin is neither eating nor drinking and I have a caramel macchiato, my favourite kind of coffee.

'Jimin, are you okay?' His eyes look troubled and I notice he is uncomfortable.

He turns to face me and gives me a small smile. 'I'm fine, Scarlet.'

'You also didn't eat back at the university,' I remark as I recall our meeting this morning. Despite the fact he brought food with him, he had not touched it. Every time I looked his way, he was either in a conversation or seemed lost in thought. It really worries me.

'Really, it's nothing. Don't worry.' He tries to sound confident, but I hear a sliver of doubt coming through in his voice.

It is better not to push the subject any further. 'Okay, but if you want anything, please do not hesitate to ask.'

'Thank you. I will.' He seems to relax a bit, but stands up nonetheless. 'I'll be right back. I need some air.' Quickly Jimin leaves us and heads outside. Namjoon stands up and walks after him, looking a bit concerned for his friend. All the boys look after the tall man walking out, especially Jin seems affected.

'Will he be okay?' I ask, the action of the remaining men making me uncertain.

'Yeah, probably. Although, can he ever truly be alright?' Yoongi says nonchalantly. Somehow it reassures me. Suddenly his face shows a pained expression. 'What?' He looks Hoseok straight in the eye with an annoyed expression.

'You know how Jiminie is, so don't make it sounds so casual,' the normally cheery guy says furiously. 'You know what he faces, so stop being an asshole about it.'

'Just stating a fact, is all,' the blonde scoffs.

'You don't always have to do so.'

'Whatever.'

'Lads, let's keep it civilized, shall we?' I interrupt before the situation takes a turn for the worse.

I do not want them to break out in an argument in the middle of the bakery, not in front of my mother. She would perhaps blame Jin for not keeping his friends in check or she would blame me for bringing in such an unruly lot.

Strangely enough I cannot miss them in my life already, so that is why I want to prevent the worst from happening.

'I'm worried,' Taehyung softly whispers. 'Poor Jimin. I wish I could help.'

Jungkook wraps his arm around his shoulder. 'We all do, Tae. We're all worried, but it's going to be fine. He is strong, it might just take a while. At the moment we can only support him by talking.'

'May I ask what Jimin's problem is? I am concerned for his well-being,' I ask, barely with enough courage, because it feels as if I am prying in their personal lives. In something they share as a group.

'It's a long story and not a happy one, that is all you need to know for now,' Yoongi answers curtly with a sharp gaze that tells me he will not tolerate any more questions about the matter.
