Walking alone through the hallways on the way to the reception feels extraordinarily lonesome. Two more stories of hardships are told today and form a part of me now as well. Perhaps it is that which weighs me down. Yet, we have to be strong. If not for ourselves, we have to be for the Bangtan crew. It is that power which has pulled them through the years and now I fully understand how they managed for so long.

Pondering these thoughts I continue on my merry way. Well, I would have, were it not for the doctor I bump into with my non-seeing eyes. He has a young round face that women will swoon over the minute they see it and kind small eyes. His hair is as dark as chocolate milk on a winter's night. All in all, he looks just right to be an idol or actor.

Hastily I apologize, but he does not seem bothered by the accident. 'It's quite alright, miss. But perhaps try to stay focused enough to avoid obstacles.'

As I take a better look at him, I realize I have seen him before somewhere.

The physician that is assigned to Hobi. We met once before when he left the room before we entered with the crew.

Though, he did have a bit of a surprised expression when he saw us approaching him. On the other hand, he is most likely not used to seeing so much persons at once visiting a patient.

'I will,' I reply sheepishly. 'How is Hoseok doing?'

'Ah, you are the girl that was with those guys. Don't worry, he will be just fine. He merely needs a lot of rest and he should be back on his feet in no time.' Reassuring yet forced is what the tone in his voice sounds like and it makes me wonder what he is hiding. Is Hope doing better or is this man no doctor at all? The latter has to be one of the silliest ideas I have ever had. Why would anyone pretend to walk these halls playing the role of a physician?

'That's good to hear. I'm sure the others will be delighted to hear as well.'

The smile he gives me appears and vanishes in a split second. 'You should hurry then and tell them. If you'll excuse me, I have to get back to my patient.' As swift and agile as a cat he moves past me and heads back to Hobi's room.

An odd feeling makes me shuffle my feet and fumble my fingers in dismay. Something is wrong, but I do not know precisely what.

Yoongi notices the unease as soon as I rejoin the lads, who have been waiting for me at the entrance. 'Scarlet, what's going on?'

I shake my head, as if to fend off all the ungrounded ideas that rise up in my thoughts. 'Nothing. I just had a very strange run in with Hope's doctor.'

They all look at me with questioning dark eyes that I know will change in the moonlight to get the most gorgeous and predatory colours. 'Hoseok has no particular doctor assigned to him,' Jimin remarks, doubt mixed with confusion slipping in. 'Not according to the administration.'

Now it is my turn to lose all understanding. 'Then who did I talk to?'

Suddenly all men look past me, each of them sensing something behind me simultaneously. Gaze never changing, Yoongi wraps his arm around my shoulders. 'Don't look back and just walk.'

My breath quickens as I start to grow worried and afraid of having made a big mistake. 'I'm so sorry.'

'What for?' Uncomprehendingly he shifts his focus to me, the others continuing to look on and clearly though unconsciously putting up defenses.

'For having made this mistake.' In the end I could not keep my word and put them in danger nonetheless.

'Scarlet, you did nothing wrong.' He rubs my upper arms good-naturedly. 'Everything's going to be fine.'
