Great leaders deserve great appreciation for their work, but what do you give the leader of the pack who cares for nothing except his hyungs? Especially for his birthday?

'We can do something with philosophy,' Jin proposes, looking at the list that has yet to be made between my hands.

'That's nice and all, but how on Earth can we translate that into a cake?' Frustration will probably destroy the pen that is being swirled around in my fingers. The only thing that comes to mind is creating an edible Homer or another philosopher if we decide on that course of action. Since I am not particularly the best at sculpting faces, I would rather not risk the little time we have left in case it will turn out sour. 'Anything else?'

The other men, all wolves but Namjoon are present and sitting around the table, do not have much of an idea either.

'Rap Mon hyung likes reading,' Taehyung remarks hesitantly, scratching the back of his neck.

Jungkook's eyes become wide as he seemingly has a ''Eureka!'' moment. His eyes go from Tae to the paper, a big smile growing on his face. 'Books!' he exclaims. 'We can do a pile of books as a cake, all of his favourite titles.'

'That's actually a splendid idea, Kookie.' Hoseok pats his youngest friend on the back, grinning his bright sunshine smile alongside his companion's. 'Could that be something we can do?'

My eyes go from Hope to Jin on my right, silently asking his opinion. 'What do you think?'

'Kook, you've proven to be a golden maknae once more,' the oldest of the crew agrees.

'He's still a brat though.' Yoongi, who is sitting on my left and looking as stoic as ever, leans forwards and rests his chin on his hand whilst his pinky curls slightly up.

'Give me your hand,' I sigh. Reluctantly he entwines his skinny musically gifted fingers with mine as he rolls his eyes.

It is a special rule we made: when one of us says something the other disagrees on, we hold hands to prevent an argument from breaking out. Whilst we both love to bicker, sometimes we do not have the energy to do so. Hence this settlement between us.

Funny thing is, Yoongi is the one who thought of it, but I am mostly the one to ask for his hand.

Jimin sniggers at our action whereas the others give either a sympathetic look or plainly ignore it, due to it happening all the time, and try to continue planning.

'What are his favourite reads actually?' Every person I look at after the inquiry is made simply shrugs, not knowing the answer. Namjoon is a bookworm who seems to like a lot. Now that I think about it, I cannot remember a time he has mentioned any work in particular that he clearly prefers.

Then an idea pops up and I snap the fingers of my free hand. 'You know what? I will take him to a bookstore and get him to tell me. I'll message Jin the titles afterwards.'

'Our evil mastermind,' Jin laughs. 'You do that. I'll bake the cake this time.' He turns to Taehyung and Jungkook. 'Can you help out in the bakery again?'

'Sure,' the two brotherly friends respond simultaneously, after which they look at each other and chuckle.

Not too long ago Tae and Kookie have started working in the bakery as well, though you can find them here mostly when we have big projects coming up on which we have to focus. Certainly now that we work for hotels and get hired for events more often.

I cast a glance around the company, a feeling of determination overtaking me. 'Lads, I think we just came up with a plan. Let's do this.'
