Sophia's POV- October 2015

"What would you ladies like to drink?"

"I'll have coffee" I told the waitress.

She nodded and looked at Jackie.

"I'll have Orange Juice"

The waitress nodded and closed her notepad.

"I'll be right back with your drinks, food should be 10-15 minutes"

We thanked her and she left.

"Did you have a good time?" I asked Jackie.

We were currently at a small diner a few minutes from 'home'

"Yes, I'm so glad I came. Your mom is seriously the best"

I smiled.

"Your mom's boyfriend is a babe"

I laughed and shook my head. We turned our attention to the waitress that placed a small mug in front of me and a pot of coffee. She placed a glass of orange juice in front of Jackie and excused herself.

"I can see why his son is gorgeous"

"George looks like his mom" I told her.

"Well his mom must be gorgeous too"

She is, but she's a bit of a bitch.

"How long has your mom been dating Lorenzo?"

"About 5 years" I replied.

"Is he planning on putting a ring on it?"

"I mean they live together" I stated.

They acted as if they were married, but it would be nice if they got married.

"Would you mind?"

I shook my head.

"No, he treats my mom like a queen" I told her.

She nodded.

"Do you like him?"

"Yeah since I got here he's done everything to make me feel comfortable" I replied.

I looked at her.

"I hope he tells me before he asks though" I admitted.

"I'm sure he will"

I filled the mug with coffee and looked at her when she cleared her throat.

"What?" I asked.

She shook her head.

"Nothing, just thinking"

I nodded slowly.

"Do you have any exams this week?"

"Yeah, I've got a Calc midterm this week" I replied.

"I still can't believe they're making you take that class. You passed you AP exams, I'd be so bitter"

I smiled and shrugged.

"What about you?" I asked.

She hummed and shook her head.

"Nope all my professors are horrible and only have one round of midterms. I've got all of that in two weeks"

"You got this" I assured her.

She sighed.

"Let's hope so"

She shifted.

"Do you know where the bathroom is?"

"Go straight and once you hit the hallway turn left" I directed her.

She stood up.

"I'll be back"

I watched as she walked away and as I reached my phone I heard a throat clear. I jumped when I noticed someone was sitting across from me.

"Hi" I said earning a smile from the guy.

I recognized the guy, I mean I followed the guy on instagram/twitter.

"I'm Paul"

I smiled and shook his hand as he stretched it over the table.

"Sophia" I introduced myself.

He glanced up and I turned around when I noticed he wasn't looking at me. He was looking at number 9 who was covering his face with his hands.

"So my friend Adrian is a bit shy"

I looked back at Paul and nodded slowly. Number 9 had a name, and it was Adrian.

"You were at the hockey game last night"

"I was" I answered.

He hummed.

"Well he took a rather liking to you"

"Ok" I said slowly.

I sat up and placed both my hands on the table.

"So what brings you here?" I asked.

He smiled.

"This is where you can help me"

I nodded slowly.

"Could I get your phone number, for him of course"

I looked at him and shook my head.

"No" I replied.

He looked at me a bit surprised and I looked up when I heard a throat clear.

"What she means is that she'd rather have his phone number"

Jackie grabbed my phone and I turned as she made her way over to Adrian. I watched as he uncovered his face and looked at Jackie who handed him my phone. He took the phone, and that's when I noticed his entire right arm was tattooed. He handed it back to her and she made her way over.

"She'll call him"

Paul nodded and stood up.

"Paul"

Jackie smiled and shook his hand.

"Jacqueline"

He nodded and excused himself.

"I'm not going to call him" I told Jackie.
