Sophia's POV- May 2016

"So is this where all the magic happens?"

I looked at Mariana and scrunched up my nose.

"I'm not going to talk about my sex life with you" I told her.

She grinned.

"So there is a sex life"

I frowned as she laughed.

"I'm kidding"

"You're not" I stated.

"So what do you need me to do?"

"Let's see if he did what he was supposed to do" I said.

I opened his closet door and hummed as I looked at the empty closet.

"Good job Adrian"

I nodded and turned to Mariana.

"When is he heading to Sweden?"

The Reign were swept in the Conference Final ending their season.

"Wednesday" I replied.

It was Sunday afternoon.

"So you're taking him to the airport?"

"Yup, I'm driving over Tuesday evening after class for him" I answered.

She smiled.

"You two are the cutest, but don't say I ever said that"

I laughed and nodded.

"What can I help with?"

I grabbed a box.

"There's a bunch of picture frames on the kitchen table, can you put them all in here?" I asked.

She nodded.

"I can do that"

She left the room and I bent down to pull out a plastic box from under the bed.

"You must have been real bored yesterday" I said.

Adrian chuckled as he walked into the room.

"Why do you say that?"

"Most of your furniture is gone" I answered.

He raised an eyebrow as we heard something break.

"That sounded like glass"

I followed him to the kitchen.

"Are you ok?" I asked Mariana.

She looked at us and nodded.

"Yeah, I just wasn't paying attention and it slipped from my hands"

Adrian stepped back.

"Let me get the broom"

I nodded.

"Are you ok?" I asked again.

She nodded.

"I just need to get some fresh air"

She quickly left the room and I turned to Adrian who walked into the kitchen just as I heard the front door open.

"I'll replace the frame" I told him.

"It's fine"

He picked up the frame and looked at the picture of him and William Nylander.

"Was it just me or was she freaking out?"

He hummed.

"Do you think they know each other?"
