THINGS WRONG WITH THE WALKING DEAD FANFICS
cviii. | cancer

Fuck, I hope I don't offend anybody because cancer is a serious matter and I just feel like this seriously needs to be addressed.

Now, I'm lucky in the sense that only two of my family members have died from cancer. I'm lucky it hasn't been more. My Grandfather died when I was a smol child (I literally have no memory of him) of Lung Cancer, due to smoking. And my Great Aunt died from the same thing, but I kinda remember her giving me chocolate so she was pretty chill.

I do know that cancer is something that shouldn't be taken likely, because it affects everybody in every country. Every one that I know personally has had a family member that has died, or had cancer.

So don't fucking write a character with cancer purely for them to get attention. Can we just rewiND REAL QUICK TO WHAT CANCER ACTUALLY IS.

I'm pretty sure that all forms of cancer will kill you in a set amount of time if you don't have medication. And I don't mean pills, I mean chemo therapy and all that hullabaloo. And leading up to dying, you will have horrible symptoms like hair loss, stress, and I could probably go on for a long time.

I read a fanfiction where a nine year old girl had breast cancer. 1) she wouldn't have breasts in which the cancer would form and 2) breast cancer at the earliest is probably 20, and even that's really fricking rare.

You wouldn't, if you had cancer, be able to survive the apolcaypse unless you had 24/7 help and support. That chick that Dwight was with had diabetes, and the only reason she survived was because she had insulin. And even then, how impractical is carrying around a tub with insulin? I'm not trying to be insulting or anything, I'm just stating the motherfucking facts.
