I'd just like to remind everybody that there's such a basic, but fine, line between rape and love. Rape is sex without consent. Rape is not 'making love', and rape is certainly not done because the perpetrator knows your protagonist wants it.

Something that's done far too often is when Daryl, or Rick, rape the OC because they know the OC secretly wants it.

NO MEANS NO, UNEDUCATED PIGEON FUCKER.

I don't care how you feel about a man forcing himself upon a woman because he wants to feel in control, or whatever, but it's rape. Nothing excuses rape. And the same goes for your OC.

If you OC forces themselves onto Daryl because he's too shy and she thinks he wants it, then it's rape.

Daryl did not say yes, therefore it's rape. nOtHiNG jUstiFIES thIS!1!11!!!!!1

You do not rape someone because you love them. You rape someone to emphasis control and that you're dominate. It's disgusting and not something to write because you're stuggling to make your OC and love interest have sex.
