Think about how young Carl was when the apocalypse started. I think, in the comics anyway, he was nine. Maybe he's older in the show, so maybe eleven? Anyway, he's pretty young. And kids nowadays start having sex at maybe fifteen (no joke). So, if Carl isn't even fifteen at this stage - pretty sure he's fourteen, plus on an earlier chapter there was a huge comment thread debating this - when did he learn about sex?
Would Rick really care that much that he would sit his son down after casually fighting walkers and say, "son, I'm gonna tell you how to smash that pussy like I smash Michonne's"
Hell fucking no. Like, okay, maybe he has sex Ed at Alexandria but it's so extra to make the OC get pregnant. Seriously, there will be condoms and methods of contraception. It's just not okay.
Sex is fine (given it's not at the prison y'all nasty) but pregnancy? Really? Really? Really? Really? REALLY?
