Chapter 10

Emma's POV

I decided to head back to Boston to tell Neal about Mackenzie in person. When I got to the apartment he was shocked I was there.

"Emma? Your here." Neal says.

"Surprise." I say.

"Yeah. Why are you here though? Not that Im not happy you are its just I thought Belle needed you." He says.

"Oh she still does I needed to get her a few things from her place and decided to come see you real fast." I say.

"Well arnt you sweet. Is something wrong?" He asks.

"Yeah, well no. Kinda. Look I need to tell you something about the girl that visited me." I say.

"What about her?" He asks.

"She's my daughter and she needed help and so her father and I are keeping an eye on her right now." I say.

"Your speaking to her father?" He asks.

"Yeah he lives were I used to be. We gave her up, but her life went bad and she left. We had to help her." I say.

"Well thats good that your helping her. Is that what your really doing back there?" He asks.

"Yeah I was going to tell you, but I wanted to get to know her. Im sorry I didnt tell you." I say.

"Its okay. Go back and get to know your child. Its fine with me. Just one thing your not still into the father of your child right?" He asks.

"No. I dont still love him." I say.

"Okay good." He says.

I was lying I still had feelings for Killian, but I think its just the old feelings resurfacing.

Killian's POV

Emma had left to tell your boyfriend the real reason she had came here. She had texted Belle saying that Neal is fine with her being here to get to know her child and she is on here way back.

"Killian! Killian! We have a problem." Regina says to me.

"Whats the matter." I ask.

"Lets go and meet up with Emma. I need to talk to both of you." She says.

Regina and I met up Emma and the others and went into Snow's and David's house.

"Wheres Mackenzie?" Emma asks.

"Regina told me to send her to the store. So thats where she is." Snow says.

"Regina whats going on?" I ask.

"I was online and I decided to see what kind of house hold Makenzie was in and I found this." Regina says handing us a flyer.

"This is a missing person's flyer. Why is this here?" Emma asks.

"Guys its Mackenzie. She is on the flyer. She is a missing person." Regina says.

Emma looked at me and I looked back at her. Then Mackenzie walked in and we all looked at her and then back at the paper. I took the paper from Regina and showed it to Mackenzie. She just stood there in shock and then started to cry. What is the truth? Why did she really run away from her home? Emma walked over to her and placed her hand on her shoulder. What are we going to do about this?
