"how long are you in busan for again?" jimin asked over the phone, laying down in his tiny twin bed of his old room looking up at the glow and the dark stars on his ceiling.

"three more days."

"then where are you going?"

"i don't know. i have like a month off basically. i've never had so long to just do nothing so i'm just stumped." the older boy's voice sounded deep and husky with sleep. "i usually would be back in the studio like the day after i got told i have a break."

"why aren't you doing that now?"

"because i have you."

"what if they don't like me?" jimin whined, pouting up at suga.

"they'll love you, hush." suga rolled his eyes, pulling jimin down into his lap and kissing the side of his neck. "namjoon-ah looks tall and intimidating in his music videos but he's just lanky and dorky in real life. and hobi is just as giggly and extra as he seems, don't worry too much."

"o-okay but–"

"YOOOOOOOOOOO."

"jhope.." namjoon whined as he closed the door behind them. "thank you for bursting my ear drums."

"no problem." hoseok grinned happily.

"why did i give you guys a key again?" suga asked, jimin still seated on his lap comfortably.

"cause you love us." namjoon placed down a bag full of food and drinks. "and we feed you."

suga nodded in agreement, standing and pushing jimin forward a little. "this is jiminie guys."

hobi tackled him in a hug, "nice to meet you! yoongi talks about you a lot."

"h-he does?"

"i do." yoongi nodded, pulling a fry out of the bag on the table.

"i'm hoseok but you can call me hobi. everyone does." the brunette smiled, letting go finally.

"and i'm namjoon but you call me joonie or joon-ah." the tall boy smiled, his dimples showing prominently.

"well you guys can call me jiminie if you want." jimin said shyly, "since you both have nicknames, does suga have one too?"

"i call him yoongs sometimes." namjoon shrugged, "but he hates it."

"i don't hate it." suga protested, "it's just annoying."

"so you hate it." joon and hobi said in sync.

jimin couldn't help but laugh, looking between the best friends.

"when are you leaving busan, jiminie?" namjoon asked, eating the last fry and flopping onto the couch with a groan.

"tomorrow." he frowned. "but i come up here every two weeks to visit my parents."

"are they upset that i'm stealing you from them?" yoongi asked, half playful, half serious.

"no. they only want me to come up here to keep tabs on me." jimin rolled his eyes. "so that they can still feel like they have some sort of control over me even though i'm grown and live hours away."

"that sucks." hobi murmured from where he was upset down on the loveseat. "but hey you have us now. and we'll come visit you in seoul!!"

"we will?" namjoon asked, furrowing his eyebrows.

"duh, joon-ah. yoongi's gonna be around jimin a lot now obviously and we can barely last a week without him, so we're gonna have to visit. and we can bring tae!!"

"we are not bringing a whole entourage to jimin's house, hoseok." the pink haired man said back.

"that's not a whole entourage. tae can fit in my suitcase, it'll be fine."

"but–"

"these are my friends." suga chuckled, pulling jimin into his side.

"i like them." the ravenette giggled, kissing the back of his hand. "wait till you meet mine."

"you want me to meet your friends? i know i never asked you but if i came to see you in seoul, would you mind?"

"i would be offended if you didn't." his lip quirked up and looked up at suga through his eyelashes.

"well i wouldn't wanna offend you, mr. park." the older mumbled, leaning down to connect their lips.

"grosssssssss!" came a whine from across the room.

and hobi couldn't help but laugh when suga raised his middle finger but didn't stop kissing jimin.
