Comforting darkness sets in.
Like a blanket lay,
It shrouds, envelopes, and covers way
The sins of my past mistakes.
Oh harsh light,
Revealing every plight,
Nook,
Cranny,
Inequity.
To stand here in nil light,
I've embraced the night.
But oh ye dawn shall come,
And with it
Burning light,
And with it,
Comforting life.
How the silence of darkness scares me so.
Awaiting awaiting
It's sanity abating.
How can I live here in the night,
Yet maintain a sound mind,
When nights sound is death and callous finds.
Let me be the crepuscular beast
To lay at night and day
And live in between.
Or let this over journeyed heart find rest else where.
Give me
Give me
A sweet embrace
And candied voices to keep company.
Give me
Give me
That warm hug to melt away
The weariness of this mind.
And give me
Give me
Talk with the voice that forgives these vices please!
How even those eyes pulls me in!
Yet let it be more....
If only it was more....
Till it can be more,
The mystery and chill of darkness calls me.
And silence readies its deafening roar this way.
And more withered I'll grow
By the day.
