My Sun on a darkened day
Funny how your days are so dark
How can the bright
Be plagued by the night?
My enigma
As miasma
Sprouts from your bones
Your wings
Your halo

Like a shooting star
Streaking 'cross my world
An ephemeral beauty
I can wish upon you
And you'd grant it so
But your fast approach to the ground

To your very bones

For you to have it

To cleanse yourself
Of darkness so heavy

Why Icarus was so devout
But he burned up
Trying to reach one of your grace

Redraw the stars
Of destiny
Arrange them into a bridge
For my feet
To reach your glory
They say my head's in the clouds too...
I dream too much
They say

To get to you one day
That like a penguin

But I could never fly
To reach your far side
But the laws of doubt

The route is a corybantic one
I won't give a damn!
