Sometimes it's hard
To want to stay
Sometimes it's difficult
To put the knife away
I get it
Wanting to take your life away
Yet you muster the courage
To live another day
You push to survive
Amidst this fray
And it's the most heroic thing
To keep on living
To continue to say,
"I will live,
To see a better day."
