We smile together when the sun is bright
Till comes night
I'm forgotten again
For I'm just a convenience friend
Called when needed
Not when not
The relationship itself is naught
Maintained solely
Because they're friends I bought.
And when I'm not needed, I'll be tossed aside
Alone again
Perhaps sempiternally this time
At least that's what I thought
Till another solivagant stole my heart
Maybe if we could get past our ways
