It took forever to learn to dream
For an empty heart
Darkness was all it'd seen
Till a light filled it to the seems
That was when I learned to dream
When the light left me
It was again darkness only
But it chose to shine again
Maybe not bright
But I still received it's soft light
That's when dreams returned to me
Amidst the dark and scary night
