I'll show it through my deeds
Then you'll surely see
For actions certainly scream and shout
Yet...
It's words that signify the truly devout
What use is a promise never said
Thus never known...
And it's only through my actions that it might be shown...
Surely, you might see it in my eyes
For my heart speaks
But when you're away from me?
When my eyes you can't see?
There's no use in a promise never said
For its never known
I'll show
Not just with my actions
But words too
Overcome this barrier when I talk to you
Overcome this barrier to speak my heart true
To let you know
Through and through
You're so important to me.
