Cas' POV

[Time skip to friday]

By the time Dean was used to the schedule at the boys home. Get up early, go to school, be annoyed by Mr. Crowley, meet Castiel, Garth and Charlie at lunch, drive home, do homework, eat dinner and spend time with Castiel. The last part was his favorite.

Dean was now sure that he has to tell Cas about his feelings and today after dinner he want to do it. He was a bit nervous about it but he'll do it.

When they got home at 5 pm Sonny called Dean to help in the kitchen. Castiel went upstairs to their room.

Okay, now it's my turn. I'm gonna do it. I have about 40 minutes to learn this song.

He sat down on his piano chair and searched on youtube for a tutorial. At first he practiced the melody with the right hand and when he was used to the movement he started practicing the chords with his left hand and then together.

After about 30 minutes he thought he was good enough at it and searched for the lyrics to learn it. Then again, everything together. Castiel tried very hard to be not to loud that Dean couldn't hear him. It should be a surprise.

At 6 pm dinner was ready and Castiel went downstairs to the kitchen.

Okay, this has to be enough. I hope I'll do well... god, I hope Dean likes it. I'm so nervous...

During dinner, Castiel and Dean got confused looks by the other people. They both looked kinda too nervous for a friday night. Both of them ate less then usual, only one slice of pizza for each. Sonny's expression looked a bit worried and when Dean realized that, he felt like he has to smile.

They were finished and went back to their room and Dean sat on his bed.
"Hey Cas, I wanna ask you something. Do you have a moment?" Now he was really nervous.

"Uhh... sure, I wanted to tell you something too." Cas answered.

Shit. What is he going to ask? Maybe he want more personal space? Maybe another room? ... No. I hope not.

"Okay, you first. I... It's not that important. Well, okay it's important for me but you first." Dean couldn't help but stutter out pointless sentences.

"No, ehh... you can start." Castiel knew he couldn't argue with Dean. Only one look in his eyes and Cas would do everything for him. So Cas became weak and decided to start.

"I... want to... say it with a song." He said and sat down in his piano chair again.
Thank god, he couldn't see Dean's face when he played piano. He would mess up a thousand times. But with the white painted wall in front of him he could imagine that he was the only person in the room.

He placed his fingers on the piano like he did half an hour ago and started playing.

"I can't fight this feeling any longer
And yet I'm still afraid to let it flow
What started out as friendship has grown stronger
I only wish I had the strength to let it show"

Castiel could feel the heat growing under his skin and lighten up his neck but he could deal with that and sang along the lyrics.

"I tell myself that I can't hold out forever
I say there is no reason for my fear
'Coz I feel so secure when we're together
You give my life direction, you make everything so clear

And ever as I wander, I'm keeping you in sight
You're a candle in the window on a cold dark winter's night
And I'm getting closer than I every thought I might

Coz, I can't fight this feeling anymore
I've forgotten what I've started fighting for
It's time to bring this ship into the shore
And throw away the oars forever

Coz, I can't fight this feeling anymore
I've forgotten what I've started fighting for
And if I have to crawl upon the floor
Or come crashing through your door
Baby, I can't fight this feeling anymore"

When he finished the song he turned around to face Dean who was blushing too.

"So... what did you want to ask me?" Cas asked to stop this awkward chick-flick moment.

Dean was speechless for a moment but then he started to talk.
"Come over here." He said and patted to the space next to him on his bed.

Castiel stood up and sat down next to him. The room was quiet and the only thing you could hear was the heartbeat of the boys. They were in the exactly same beat.

Dean snuggled closer and filled the gap between them. He looked in his deep blue eyes and then to his lips. Before Cas could realize what he was doing, he leaned in and connected their lips. It was a slow and sensitive kiss, just like a first kiss has to be.

When Dean pulled back, he stared in Castiels eyes again and placed his hand on his thigh. "Cas, do you wanna be my boyfriend?"

I didn't know it would be that easy. But I like it that way.

"Yes, Dean" he said with a big smile on his face. Dean couldn't help but smile back at his answer.

"That song you played was beautiful by the way." He said. Cas whispered a short 'thanks' and leaned in again. Dean rested his right hand still on Cas' lap and his left hand wandered to his neck to pull him closer.

Damn, his lips are so soft... I never want to break this kiss...
