Here it is, the final chapter.

I think it would be easier to skip the "hello agains" and "farewells," at the moment — so I'm just going to dive into the plot right away.

PICKING UP WHERE WE LEFT OFF:
Jason and Mary had recently just become an item before Mary(?) flipped the script on him and broke poor Jason's little heart. Jason retaliated by destroying his office and mentioning to a man named Aaron that he wanted Julian dead.

Alright, so by now it should evident that Jason isn't as pristine as he first appeared to everyone and there's obviously something going on with him and this guy Aaron.

Well, Aaron is his brother and
colleague. Surprise!

BACKSTORIES /
WHAT THE FUTURE HELD:

JASON AND MARY
Jason isn't even a real a priest, he went to a short seminar on how to basically fake being a priest. Jason is actually apart of La Cosa Nostra meaning This Thing of Ours aka The Mafia. In the hierarchy of the mob, you have associates, soldiers, capos, consiglieres, underbosses and bosses. Jason is an underboss, meaning he isn't the head of the family (certain faction in the mafia. there are five to be exact) but he's next in line to be the boss. His mother is actual boss and she resides in New York, handling everything else. Aaron is a capo or "captain," and he leads a group of soldiers; he also reports to the underboss, which is Jason.

What does this mean you ask? It means Jason didn't just didn't wake up one morning and decide he wanted to ruin Mary Winters' life, no no. Jason was doing what he does best, seeking revenge. Back in the day Mary's dad Brad (or Bradley) had some dealings with the Mafia. He was balls deep in the same criminal activity Jason was involved in (money laundering), but he went and screwed over the family (this was before Jason was an underboss, back when he was a capo) which angered Jason's mother and eventually him when he heard the story, so the two of them got together and planned for years on how to get the conniving son of a gun back. Eventually they got smart and decided to target his daughter, Mary. To use her as a pawn in their little game of revenge — basically an eye for an eye and a tooth for a tooth. You all would've learned this in Holy Shit.

All along Jason was just doing his job, making the poor girl fall in love with him and eventually getting her pregnant (Holy Shit) as a means of payback. He didn't expect to actually love her back though and he didn't want to, even when he knew everything about her and her life — so to be clear Jason did begin to feel bad towards the end of this book because she wouldn't have learned this until after she was pregnant and essentially crazy in love with him.

Mary would've forgiven him though, because she loves him. During her pregnancy Ms. Lopes would've helped her hide it under the impression it belonged to a student at the all boys academy that Blake, Angelo and Julian all attended. Ms. Lopes would've been like a foster mother to her and her son named Andrew would've had a small fling with Mary. Mary would've given birth to twins: a boy an a girl who shall go unnamed and outsiders would assume they were Julian's because the two would be engaged under the harsh rule of their parents. Their kids were a business deal to them (no engagement = no money left to Mary + Julian.)

The engagement wouldn't have lasted though because of the constant cheating from both parties. Jason would ask Mary to come away with him and she would've gone with him — Cheryl as well and they'd all live under new aliases and live new, better lives. . . Well within the corruption of wealthy mafia system. Jason would've eventually became the boss as well due to his mother's early retirement and him and Mary would tie the knot and basically live happily ever after, with Cheryl by their side.
