Colby:  Y/N
Colby:  Y/N? 
Colby:  Are you awake? 
Colby:  Hey Y/N are you still awake?
Colby:  You know it's rude not to answer people; so you should answer me 
Colby:  Y/N!!!!
You:   Jesus Christ Colby! What the hell do you want? I'm trying to sleep!!
Colby:  I'm hungry and can't sleep....I was going to get food but I don't wanna go alone so come with me 
You:   And you couldn't wait until morning for this 
Colby:  Nope!
You:   I hate you 
Colby:  Be there in 5 
Colby:  Btw love you too :)

Why is Colby Brock your best friend? 
That is the question you ask yourself nearly everyday of your life since you were 10 years old. 

When your parents separated you and your mom moved out to California because she wanted to give you a better life than she had.  After a few months of being in California you decided that acting was your passion and you wanted to pursue it as a career.  It took a lot of auditions and talent scouting in order to get you in the place you are today. 

Now onto Colby, when you first moved out to California you and your mom were shopping and you bumped into Colby and his mom.  You found out that your mom and Colby's mom had known each other when they were in high school and they wanted to reconnect as friends.  Now nearly another 10 years later you and Colby are still best friends.  Ever since that first California friend came into your life you've been best friends ever since.  By each other's side and got each other's back. 

Lately though you've been noticing some changes in Colby.  He's been acting really clingy and touchy when your with other people.  It all started when you were at a party with Colby and his friends.  Brennen was obviously flirting with you and you were beginning to flirt back.....because you know Brennen is hot.  After that night Colby has been attached to your hip when your all out places  together. 

For a while you thought it was kind of annoying and you just learned to deal with it as if it was a new normal.  Then one day you decided to talk to Colby's best friend, Sam, about it and he told you that Colby had a crush on you for a while now.  You in no way believed him.  You thought about the whole thing every time you were with Colby after that and you soon realized 

That you might like Colby also. 

From outside of your apartment door you head "Y/N you ready to go?" Colby asked 

"Colby stop screaming there's neighbors trying to sleep" 

"Sorry, but who's ready for some Wendy's baconator fries!!" he whispered back as you locked the door behind you 

When you both made it downstairs to Colby's car you were just sitting there in absolutely silence quietly laughing to yourself. 

"What's so funny over there?" 

"You Colby Brock" you said to him as you sat in darkness. "You could've called any one of your friends but you called me instead" 

"Well if there's anyone I would want in this car with me at 3:30 in the morning I would want it to be you and only you" 

You can feel a blush creeping up in your cheeks, you thought to yourself that you were so lucky it's dark out and Colby can't see your face. To make the awkward silence less awkward you turned on the Bluetooth and plugged your phone in, LA Devotee by Panic! At The Disco was the first to come on. Great timing....Colby started to sing the song quietly to himself so you started to sing with him a little louder. Not too long after you and Colby were both blasting the song and singing your hearts out. You had yet to leave the parking space in front of your apartment. This is one of the qualities you love most about Colby, he can always make an awkward situation turn into a fun one just by being himself. Silence never really lasted with him unless he's sleeping or working. 

 "Shit.." Colby said quietly

"What is it?" you asked turning down the music

"What time is it?"

"Um..4:15 why? Oh my god Colby." you said face palming quickly

"I forgot they're not 24/7!" 

"Oh my god Colby" you said face palming again in despair, "So what now?" you asked looking him

"I'm still hungry, but I feel bad for dragging you out here now." Colby said scratching his head.

"McDonald's?" you offered up knowing that you hate McDonald's

"You still wanna go somewhere?" Colby asked 

"I mean I'm already wide awake and definitely not falling back asleep tonight. Plus now I'm  hungry so why not?"

Colby chuckled looking at me, you gave him a wide smile and giggled.

"I'm lucky I have you, Y/N." Colby said laying his hand on top of yours from the drivers seat 

"Awe, I'm lucky I have you too, Colby." you smiled

After another awkward moment of staring at each other, Colby started leaning closer to you. That could only mean one thing and you were so happy about it that you got constant butterflies in the pit of your stomach. When finally your lips touched it felt....it felt....god you couldn't even put into words how it felt. Loving.....Longing.....Sparks. People on the streets are probably looking at you both in the car like "What the hell are those two doing?" or "Awe how cute, young love."

"Wow." you both said simultaneously before bursting out laughing

"Honestly never though our first kiss would be in our pj's, in an empty parking lot at 4:30 in the morning." Colby said laughing and shaking his head in pleasure and disbelief 

"I wouldn't have it any other way" you said giving him another kiss

"Yeah, fuck formalities. We are trendsetting individuals" He said laughing 

"That's the spirit, now let's get some McDonald's cause I'm really hungry now" you said getting back in my seat and putting your seat belt on

"Of course" Colby said while pulling off as he held your hand

Your so happy that you didn't ignore his text.
